What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Ticehurst To Rent.

Rev Keates - verified booking

"This is a lovely comfortable cottage although it would be quite cold out of season. As the description says it is only suitable for a couple and the ceilings are very low - at 5' 11" I bumped my head on the ceiling beams several times during my stay. The stairs wto the bedroom bathroom could also be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. Parking is also a slight problem as it is on a narrow one-way street although we always managed to find a slot within about 20 yards of the door. The cottage and the village were both lovely with good local shops and the Bell Pub and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We had a very good week thank you."

"The house was lovely and the views amazing. We were given several treats including a home-made delicious birthday cake. We were very happy during our stay. The ferries had just started to operate on a call-and-collect basis (end of March) which meant that we could walk some of the way around the lake and then get the boat back to near the cottage, and this service was great fun. The lake was more than full with water and that's why it looked so pretty. The footpaths were a bit muddy, but you cannot have it both ways. I feel we had chosen the perfect hide-away for our holiday. "What a great beautiful spacious house in a beautiful location. Welcoming with a homemade lemon cake, delicious after such a long journey; a cup of tea with honey and a nice piece of cake ... The area lends itself to nice trips to the coast, but we have also been a day by train to London, 45 minutes and we were in the heart of London! Supermarket 10 minutes drive, well equipped."
