What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Telford And Wrekin To Rent.
- Mr Whittaker, April 2017 - verified booking
"Their involvement was limited to that of any portal. The property was something else again! SUPERB! It was infinitely more than we expected because the listing details failed to do it justice. The way that modern amenities had been built into such an old building was masterful. That the building has been recovered from being derelict by the present owners is a testament to their vision, imagination, sense of style etc etc etc!! Its position away in the country but within easy reach of Market Drayton, Newport and Telford is excellent as well as beautiful. So relaxing. With a big comfy bed - it is impossible not to enjoy. A walk around the gardens is well worthwhile as is a visit inside the tulip tree. Because our neice stayed in the B&B we were treated to a tour of the Hall itself which is another world again. The Owners were perfect hosts and extremely attentive - which we appreciated greatly. We would love to visit again. John & Alex Whittaker. After five years in New Zealand en route to a new life in beautiful Shropshire."

"The cottage is beautifully furnished and full of character, with everything we needed to ensure a great stay. From the welcome pack of bread, home-made plum jam, eggs and milk, to the super comfy beds (first time I've stayed in any cottage when the bed was more comfortable than the one at home!), to the glorious courtyard with its riot of colours, it was perfect. Mark and Adrian were very welcoming and unobtrusive, and kindly gave us a tour of the Meeson Hall, which was amazing. The peace and tranquility of S2383 made this a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday for us all, and the wi-fi is also very good, which kept my 14 year old happy! There is also a lot to do in the area, and we enjoyed trips to Ironbridge, historic Shrewsbury and our particular favourite trip was to Hawkstone Follies (which did leave us with rather sore feet, but was well worth it). A perfect cottage and perfect holiday, we would thoroughly recommend S2383 to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing break!"

"What a simply lovely cottage. It is set in the grounds of a wonderful estate (Meeson Hall) in Shropshire, so when you leave the cottage you can wonder around the grounds. The S2555 itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The village is lovely and has the best butcher I have ever been to!! Mark and Adrian who run Meeson Hall are extremely welcoming. When we arrived we were met and shown around the cottage. There were fresh eggs, tea, coffee, milk, butter, home-made jam and bread all provided for our arrival. You couldn't wish for a more comfortable cottage and a more peaceful place. Can't wait to go back!"

"Housekeepers Cottage is a truly delightful holiday accommodation set in the beautiful grounds of Meeson Hall. The Cottage has been sympathetically restored, decorated and furnished by the present owners making it a most cosy and comfortable place to stay. The gardens of Meeson Hall are a pleasure to sit in the sun and while away an hour or two. Lots to do in this area of Shropshire, plenty of National Trust properties to visit plus the heritage centre of Ironbridge. All in all a fabulous place to escape the hustle and bustle of a busy life, sit back and enjoy the scenery."
