"A very comfortable, well equipped and spacious cottage in a superb location to explore this wonderful area. The railway museum (a little jewel- you can have a go at working the signals), dining car (lovely scones and cream), railway viaduct (popular with Harry Potter fans), monument to the Jacobite uprising, NT visitor centre, viewing point (gorgeous views), Glenfinnan church etc- all within easy walking distance. Both the Princes House hotel and Glenfinnan House are within a few minutes' walk for a special meal. It's a birdwatcher's paradise- we saw woodpeckers, buzzards, golden eagles, redwings, chaffinches, thrushes- as well as an abundance of tits and robins. Lovely to watch having breakfast or evening drinks on the back decking. One night we glimpsed pipistrelle bats high up. Many beautiful white beaches a short drive away in the Morar/Arisaig direction - great for swimming, snorkling and sand fun. Loch Shiel cruises tremendous fun. Cottage was lovely and comfortable to come back to after a day out- log fire was a treat, loads of hot water etc after sea swimming, very well equipped kitchen. Fridge/freezer has plenty of room to fill up with food - the Co-op at Corpach is pretty well stocked and Fortwilliam has many big supermarkets. The garden is very well fenced in- safe for children or dogs to play around in).We had wonderful weather and would definitely go here again."

"Beautiful cottage in a lovely position. Watching the wildlife in and out of the Loch was fascinating. We had so many small birds visit the bird table plus bank voles, mice, hedgehogs and, yes, a pine marten visit the patio just outside the large windows (the highlight of our holiday and first time to see one in the wild). The cottage is a great, well designed space for two people. We didn't have the best weather (May) but were always cosy in the cottage. The private hide that is up a short path makes for a lovely different view to watch down the Loch.Although supermarket at the Kyle of Loch Ailsh is a bit of a drive there is a small shop close by at the garage which stocks most basic supplies if need be. Cafe at Kyle (Herbie's Bothy) was grand for lunch or dinners out.Visiting the nearby picture perfect Donan Castle to take in the wonderful views was also a pleasure."

"This was our first time on the Isle of Skye and S49740 cottage was the perfect place to stay.... a real home from home with everything you could ask for! Comfortable, stylish, cosy warm, plenty of entertainment for the kids, kitchen gadgets galore! It also made the perfect place for exploring on the island or getting back across to the mainland. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here, we would love to come back!! Just a little tip about household shopping, there is a good local Co-Op about a mile away that has a good selection, but we ordered a 'click & collect' from Tesco, unaware that there is not actually a Tesco on the island - you pick up from a delivery truck in the car park at the local library - we spent a good 30 mins looking for a Tesco store lol!"

"Finding cabin on first day was a little difficult as we had come from the ferry and the instructions were from the bridge so this needs to be tweeked. Cabin was all we hoped for and more. Lovely location by the coastline in a quiet area away from the tourists. Pleasant walk into Broadford. Cabin was immaculate and homely and really appreciated the scones, jam, and eggs on arrival.Flora the owner was lovely and was there if we needed her.The cabin is light and airy and cosy in the evenings and was of a good standard which Flora should be proud of.Saw lots of birds but did not hear much from them.Thoroughly recommend S38174"

"Excellent Cottage and scenery all the way around the cottage. The owners were very helpful and lovely people. On arrival there was a homemade cake with a bottle of wine which i though was very thoughtful of them. There was also milk, coffee and tea so as soon as we got there we could make ourselves a drink. The cottage had everything, home from home. No WIFI which would have been good but managed with out. The cottage had a huge enclosed garden that was safe to let the dogs out in. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the cottage was very clean. We would go back to this cottage. It was superb. Many thanks."
