"3 families stayed at the cottage in May. 6 adults, a 17 yr old, a 10 yr old and a 5 year old. The cottage is amazing and the grounds are fantastic. The kitchen is very well equipped, with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. It really is like home from home. There is enough seats etc for everyone and the whole place is lovely and comfortable. There are plenty of bathrooms and had hot water the whole time. There is even a cupboard with extra sheets and towels in if needed. They left us some cookies and cider which was a lovely welcoming touch. We had a Sainsbury delivery on the Friday afternoon and he was brilliant. The pool was freezing which we were disappointed about as we'd had glorious sunshine the week leading up to our stay so thought it might be somewhat warm. The children enjoyed the garden - and the bbq was a hit. Our only criticism is that some bits were a bit tired. The blinds in the bedrooms needed re-threading, a couple of handles needed fixing etc. It didn't spoil our weekend, just a tad annoying when you've paid nearly a £1000 for a weekend away in May. Out and about, Framlingham is lovely and so is the castle. We also went to Southwold which is beautiful. The brewery tour at Adnams is great but you need to book in advance. We had a lovely weekend and would love to stay again. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay in your beautiful property."

"The accommodation was excellent - modern and very clean, very well equipped and very good use of space. The site was ideal for our group of 3 adults and a 3 year old child. There were a few little things that could be improved eg provision of a 2nd door key, especially as the key box was so difficult to open; although we didn't need to use the washing machine (an excellent addition to the kitchen), it would have been very useful if it had been a washer/dryer so we could have dried towels after bathing/swimming, especially as the heated bathroom towel rail didn't seem very effective; the 'manual' really didn't contain much useful information about the accommodation/ equipment or the site. Not sure why there was an enormous polystyrene 'wheel' in one of the wardrobes (now found a new home under the bed!) These are not complaints, but just suggestions that might be helpful/ useful if implemented."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in S37653. Surprisingly spacious, quirky & comfortable. Lovely peaceful location with views across the Suffolk countryside. Kids moaned a bit about how small their bedroom was but they were just being picky and miserable, they only needed to sleep in it! Think it was more the fact they had to share (11yr old boy & 6yr old girl). We found the whole site fabulous. If you love unusual accommodation you’ll love Brockford sidings it’s such a clever and fantastically designed site. With free use of the owners under cover swimming pool, sauna & hot tub, a 5 min drive away. You book a 1 hour private use slot, pool was lovely and warm, kids loved it. Lots of lovely pubs locally, we especially liked the Railway Tavern at Mellis. Think you could probably walk to a pub if you wished but may be a couple of miles. Overall we loved!"

"We thought the property and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. All in all the property was clean but when I had to go under sofa's to invariably fetch out kids toys I noticed a lot of dog hair and dust which wasn't pleasant to have to put my hand in. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms etc though were spotless. My one gripe was with kids I really needed a washing line. The drier in the utility room was fine but the weather was glorious so it seemed strange to me and a shame that I could hang all my laundry (which with kids you have a lot of!) outside. That said, we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would definitely recommend it to friends and possibly stay again maybe when it's a bit warmer so we could take advantage of the pool."

"We enjoyed the break. The carriage was lovely and well stocked for our needs. We staying during the heat wave and the extreme heat took its toll on us. The use of the pool was needed. Some cleaning should be done more frequently we saw dead flys in the light bulbs plus dust under bed. Plenty of towels for our use. The extra of washing line was handy. Also the extra freezer in green shed. The blinds could do with an update plus made safer for small kids. The outside furniture a little old, could do with a update. The kids enjoyed the play area and the added badminton net was used. The owners friendly and helpful. We would visit again and stay in a different carriage. The milk and cake was a nice touch. Thank you for an enjoyable stay."
