"Dear Rahul, Thanks once again for sharing Chateau Seyches with us, it is a very special place. There are many but in particular the whole house had a good vintage ambience and the simplicity of the furnishings enhanced this. The use of a big mirror in the sitting room worked well. We all particularly liked the second sitting room study. The use of natural hard floors with rugs enhance the very grounding feel the house has and this made us relax and enjoy. Beds very comfortable. Beds, linen and towels were of great quality and so too the kitchen cooking options - range and induction hob in particular. Bathrooms were great too and the pool furnishings very comfortable! Sonos was a bonus too...we are now converts to this form of listening to music having experienced it at Chateau Seyches. In summary a lovely holiday home, welcoming and relaxing with a sense of antiquity. A nice touch to share the house guide ahead of time, so we could hit the ground running. Overall an idyllic and very special rental, which we look forward to return to in 2015. Thanks again for your most kind help and attentiveness...it was much appreciated. The level of personal care from you made the property feel more than just a rental and more like the home of a friend. thank you. Best regards!"

"Lovely week's holiday at the beautiful Prieure St Therese. Paula is the perfect hostess; nothing is too much trouble for her. She makes you feel so welcome; she even picked us up from the airport! The rooms at Prieure St Therese are beautifully decorated and reflective of the 14th century building. Whilst you feel you have "gone back in time", Prieure St Therese offers modern conveniences and comforts in a homely environment. The beds are very comfortable with exquisite bed linen and there is plenty of wardrobe/storage space. Paula is a fantastic chef so don't just stick with breakfast, take the dinner option if it is offered. Although this is extra you will not be disappointed. Prieure St Therese is set in a wonderful rural location; very tranquil and relaxing to sit by the pool in the garden or take a walk/cycle ride in the surrounding countryside. For children/teenagers there is a wonderful room full of toys/games and a massive TV with internet. Pressigny is within easy reach of nearby chateaux and medieval towns. Be sure not to miss a visit to Joan of Arc's Chapel and Gustav Eiffel's viaduct."

"We (two families with four children aged 3-10) spent a week at Aillac Farmhouse in late August 2015. It was a lovely week. The farmhouse is very spacious and very comfortably furnished. There is ample seating for everyone in the inside and outside living and eating areas. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery etc. The bathrooms are modern and there was always plenty of hot water. The towels were large and fluffy and the beds comfortable. We were greeted by an English house keeper and made to feel very welcome. The house is situated in beautiful, peaceful countryside. There is a play park nearby and a choice of supermarkets and small towns a short drive away. We also visited Perigueux, Brantome and the caves of the Vézère valley. If there was one thing I could change, it would be the pool. As it is unheated and the weather was cool when we arrived, it was very cold. By the middle of the week, once the temperature outside was back up to the late 20's and into the 30's, we couldn't get the children out of it! A wonderful place to stay."

"Thank you for opening your amazing home. Bordeaux, Libourne and St Emilion are lovely and we are so grateful to have spent our time vacationing in your sanctuary - a perfect place for our friends to meet. I assume our group was not among your standard guests - five couples! Most of us met while attending Cornell University and have a fraternity, sorority of a major study in common. Frederico and I dreamt of a time when all of us could be together in the same place again (it has been 5 years) and we are so happy to have found Chateau La Roque. Whether by plane, train or automobile (and some a combination of!) we all arrived in Bordeaux for our 1 week stay. We split the days between playing tennis, tasting delicious wine, shopping and eating (thank you Christophe). We left Bordeaux feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and cant wait to return. To all future guests, we hope you enjoy this little slice of heaven as much as we did. It is truly something to be cherished. 09.12 Castellucci and freiends, (Atlanta, LS, NY and St Louis, USA)"

"Dear friends and colleagues: I would not usually do this, however, Tim and I have fallen upon the most breathtaking French chateau in the Dordogne - I simply could not, not share it with you! It was so much more than we expected...! It is without question one of the most amazing places that either of us have had the fortune to stay. Jose and Diana could not have made us feel more welcome. They have lovingly restored their C16th chateau to glorious splendour and it feels more like a lavish home than a hotel (or a museum!). The chateau has 40 acres of forest to explore and the surrounding villages are exquisite. It is pretty much a 2.5 hour door to door trip (or at least for us) and there are regular flights from both Southampton & Standsted to Bergerac with a 40 minute drive to the Chateau. Jose is a fabulous chef and will cook up a feast of local produce at your request and Diana's breakfasts are simply gorgeous. (Gentlemen - if you are in the bad books this is most definitely the way out!) I guarantee you will love it"
