What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Swimming Pools In Bournemouth To Rent.

"We had a very good holiday, with ample space and a suitable disposition of bedrooms for three generations of the family. The U-shaped layout of the property is perfect, allowing those who wished to do so, to rest and/or sleep without disturbance. The swimming pool and games room got a great deal of use. I understand that the kitchen is to be re-equipped; what was there was more than adequate but I can understand why it is to be done. The lounge and dining area provided a good amount of space for the whole group (11 in total) to gather, socialise, play and eat, so became the focal point of the holiday. The location is just off the main road between Corfe Castle and Swanage but we were never disturbed by traffic noise. The party came from different places in southern England but driving to Woodyhyde was reasonably straightforward. My wife and I had visited the property prior to booking, so were able to supplement the directions provided. It was not always easy to spot if arriving in the dark. The weather in the week we were there was wet, so we did not get an opportunity to make use of the adjacent field for outdoor games. We made a trip on the steam railway, passing by quite close to S19904 and the two youngest members of the party enjoyed seeing the trains go by on other days. We managed to get out every day, despite the weather, and I don't think we had to travel more than 10 miles to any of the places we visited. There were places nearby for walking, as well as 'attractions' to visit.Because the youngsters are of school age, we were restricted to booking during a school holiday, when prices are much higher than at other times. This may be inevitable but was annoying, nonetheless. We experienced a couple of minor 'niggles' which were addressed promptly."

"We went as a group of 10 for my 50th birthday on the 2nd March. Unfortunately it snowed the day before, and we panicked. Well we needn’t have, the staff phoned on the morning and warned me that due to the weather there was only one staff member on duty.We had booked in the bistro and was told we would have to accept whatever was given, which was understandable. When we arrived we met the one staff member, Taylor. He was just amazing and deserves a very special mention. I can imagine people in his situation wouldHave been miserable, he was receptionist, Barman and chef. He could not have done enough and was brilliant, he was funny, charming and helpful, couldn’t say enough about him. The cottage in terms of position and use of the facilities couldNot have been better. My only criticism of the cottage is that it’s cold even with the heating on. Especially if you planned sitting in the lounge. We spent all the time in the kitchen which was really nice. The bedrooms were comfortable and more than adequate for us. The spa facilities for us were great as we basically had it to ourselves, as there were only four other guests. I think the bar has a nice feel to it, but I would say the food on the second night in the bistro was a bit bland, even though there were chefs there! However that aside we all agreed we would go back as it is really good value for money, and someone please say well done to Taylor, he’s a star!"

"Stayed as a family break over early May Bank Holiday for three 'big' Birthdays and everything was perfect.Very comfortable and clean, very easy to feel 'at home' straight away and a great set up for large groups. We are 'cooks' and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly want, with plenty of crockery and cutlery. We stayed here in 2005 but now the swimming pool and games room is exclusive to the Courtyard with a very handy adjoining door and perfect changing area - even ample pool towels were provided - how thoughtful!Very useful utility room with second fridge (great for beer!) and dishwasher but also two fridges (and freezer of course) in kitchen - a must, but a rarity these days in holiday lets.Loved the steam train at the end of the garden!Very friendly accommodating owner, always checking if we were happy.Thank you for thinking of everything (including toilet rolls and hand soap!) and we would love to go back.P.S. The sun shone too = 1st BBQ of the year!"

"We were a little disappointed at some things. Although large the kitchen is tired and table crockery not very special. The kitchen equipment was of good quality but a bit muddled. Perhaps the small kitchen table could be replaced by an island unit giving more storage, or the small fridge moved closer to cookers. We really appreciated the number of fridges in the property and ended up using both dishwashers We did enjoy the large dining table and the logburner was a huge success The outdoor space and parking area were really good, and, although we didn't use the field much, we could see that it would be great in drier weatherWe were disappointed with the size of the twin bedroom, maybe zip and link beds in other bedrooms would be a useful thing."

"We were a wide family of ten spanning three generations, and all had a great time. The large indoor pool and games room (Pool, Table Football, Table Tennis - with TV and drinks cooler) was used much, especially by the two teenagers who spent many fun hours there. The lounge area was spacious and very comfortable, and the large kitchen (open plan with lounge) was very smart and did not want for anything. We spent much time at base - and found it a great place to relax and chill out. Whilst we were only a short way from the sea, we were very much in a country setting. The views at and around Woodyhyde were gorgeous - and as soon as you walk from the Courtyard there are beautiful country walks in all directions. We will definitely be returning."
