What our customers are saying about our Summer Holiday Cottages In Staffordshire To Rent.

"The children and I enjoyed the pool. This was the main reason for staying. We felt it could have been open longer than 6pm.Inside the cottage I was disappointed to see there was no dishwasher and I had to wash all crockery before use. The hob was useless as the dials had no indication if how hot the hob was. I spent a lot of time with them all at different positions moving pans around to cool food. Very frustrating.I noticed that this negative was on a previous review and still nothing has been done. A bit complacent. The bathroom was dirty and needs an upgrade. As there was lots of flies due to the horses in the field, maybe fly screens on the windows as this was another off putting feature.I would not stay again as felt that it was definitely overpriced and not worth the price I paid."

"Fantastic place to stay for our week away with the little guy and rest of the family. The pool added that extra piece of 'holiday' to our stay and was clean and heated. Cooking facilities and utensils were all catered for. Beds were comfy and it was very quiet at night time. Shower was hot every time we used it. The nearby road had minimal traffic and suitable for walking the dog on a lead. Within a mile, there was a public area to let the Dog off the lead to have a good run around. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and they were approachable if we needed anything. Only slight criticism for Peacock Cottage is the second bedroom is a bit tight for space. However, we got used to it after a couple of days. Would stay here again."

"A very well designed barn conversion with beautiful views and plenty of land to stroll around. Chickens running free, horse, pony, Alan and cows all add to relaxed location. The quality of fittings, bedding and kitchen is very high. Spotlessly clean. The hot tub is inspirational providing something very unique and special. Very private outdoor space plus a playroom used some evenings by adults as an escape area from teenagers. Something for all and we felt valued and that if anything was needed it would have been provided. Stayed two weeks and sad to leave, lots to do in the area eg kayak hire, bicycle hire, markets, walks, theme park, Peak District, shopping centre, canal boats, steam railway, falcon art centre, go ape, caves etc etc etc"

"Had a wonderful time at this lovely cottage which is ideally located to visit the beautiful Peak District and Staffordshire. The cottage very quaint and is situated in a rural setting, which was peaceful and beautiful. We loved our time here and would recommend it to family and friends. The only qualm I had was that there were cobwebs around all the windows on the inside and smelled a bit musty. Otherwise, it was clean and well equipped. We struggled with a local supermarket for everyday provisions and had to buy them on route or when visiting a larger town. We stayed for a short break of 4 nights but had to pay the full price for the week as it was peak season.Apart from that we had a great time."

"This cottage has the enviable position of being completely detached, yet within easy traveling distance of nearby towns, attractions and scenery. The views directly through the windows of the cottage are charming and the little track up to it from the main road provides privacy and seclusion, which makes for a romantic setting. The cottage inside was comfortable and well equipped, it had a pleasant lounge with triple aspect windows, which allowed for sun to stream in any time of the day. The double bed was very comfortable and there was ample storage space; outside the track to the cottage was firm and the parking was excellent. We had a very pleasant holiday!"
