"We had a lovely stay at Y Morwr. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas with some lovely castles and museums to visit. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed except for towels or tea towels!! This meant that we had to go shopping on Sunday and buy a selection of both. Showering on the first morning was a challenge. Speaking to Ruth (the lady who caretakes the property). a few days later, she explained that towels should have been there and she seemed to think that the owner must have taken them for some reason. We also (strangely) found a pair of ladies pants in the washing machine!! They had been washed though but was not what we expected and the small teapot in the kitchen could do with a good bleaching. Apart from that everything was perfect with a very well equipped kitchen and a lovely comfy bed. There is a lovely view from the lounge over the marina. If you cannot be without wifi then be warned as there isn't any. The wife code is available from the marina office; however, after having access to the visitor's password and the berth-holders password (which was kindly given to us after explaining that the visitors one did not work) we gave up. Luckily neither of us needed nor wanted to be 'attached' to our phones. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and when we arrived there was a bottle of wine along with a card and some flowers waiting for us which was a lovely gesture. The Bar restaurant directly across the road is very nice. We had dinner there twice and it was most enjoyable. There is a cafe style place underneath the Bar which is closing down at the end of September. Hopefully someone will take it over otherwise there is little else actually at the marina."

"Lovely cottage but not for a winter stay.We had a 6 month old baby and the cottage was cold and damp and we cut short our stay by 1 night as the heating just didn’t get up to temperature, we spent the time in the cottage with 3 layers of clothing on. We now know why sofa blankets were provided. The hive system kept turning back down to 10 degrees and didn’t get above 19 for the entire stay and it still felt damp.Unfortunately we all came back with chesty colds and our 6 month old had to have antibiotics for his chest infection. The fire displayed within the pictures we were advised is not used and so we only had the heating to rely upon.Positive feedback was that the cottage is a lovely size and has a well equipped kitchen in terms of crockery and accessories. The shower in the master bedroom is also lovely.I’m afraid that the negative out weighs the positive here:- the oven took 2 hours to cook some oven chips on night 1 due to not getting up to heat- the shower in the main bathroom filled with pipe contents every time the bath emptied- the bed linen smelt of damp and so did our clothes afterwards- there were damp patches situated throughout the cottage walls- the bedding in the twin bedroom was stained with what looked to be blood - photograph attached- the hive system didn’t operate as required and kept turning it self down to 10 degrees"

"We had such a fantastic stay at S85459. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and welcoming and full of helpful advice, but they also left us alone to enjoy the property in peace. Jock (their dog) was also very welcoming and came to greet us every time we arrived back for a fuss or a play. The way the cottage is located on the owner's land means that you have a lot of privacy and the balcony (straight off the lounge) provides lovely sea views. Watching the sunset from here is a real treat. You can also see enjoy the seaview from the sofa if the weather isn't kind to you. The property has fantastic living space and everything you need. We particularly enjoyed the dining room / conservatory. This has a warm roof so doesn't get too hot but is nice and warm and also provides sea views and lots of light. This means even if the weather isn't great you can sit in here and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings. We were blessed with fabulous sunshine for our stay so really got to enjoy all that the property and local area has to offer. There are lots of helpful leaflets in the property with ideas of where to go. The wifi worked well so we could do our own research. The furniture was comfortable and the property was warm and very clean. We have fallen in love with the area and with S85459 and really hope to be able to return soon."

"We recently enjoyed a fantastic week staying at S85459 and loved it from the moment we arrived. The owners Peter and Liz (& their lovely dog Jock) are very friendly and welcoming. The Cottage is well appointed and cosy but its location and view are the trump cards. We enjoyed many an evening sitting on the decking looking out to sea and watching the sunset.S85459 is well located for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastal path which we really enjoyed, we benefited from fantastic weather during our stay but are sure we would have also enjoyed it regardless if had been worse. The cottage is lovely and warm with log burner (if required) and has a lovely dining room/conservatory to enjoy the cracking view. The power shower was a welcomed treat after several hours/miles walking along the coastal path each dayWe will definitely stay again if we come back to this area of the Pembrokeshire coast.Skomer island seeing the puffins was a highlight for us.Peter and Liz are happy to advise and recommend on local attractions and places to visit. You won't be disappointed!"

"First impression was that the cottage looked tired and the outside paintwork was not a bright as in the photos. It didn't get any better as you walked through the front door as there was a damp smell.I know it's a very old cottage but some decent air fresheners would have helped.Another more unpleasant smell appeared from time to time,it seemed to be after flushing the toilets. Some of the rugs need a clean or just removed, paint work pealing in places.A couple of odd things like the bedside lamp lead cannot reach the nearest socket and a lampshade missing, which I later found in the wardrobe, which itself had its backboard come away.Out side in the yard there was a constant dripping overflow pipe and the games room was just dingy. On a positive note the beds were comfortable enough and the location, two decent pubs nearby were very friendly and served very good food and a great view of the castle to wake up to.Overall this should be a fabulous cottage,it just needs some TLC."
