"We stayed at the Riverside cottage after confirming that we could take our vehicles there we received a phone call from the owner asking us to remove from drive and park in a pitch black car park over a tiny slippery bridge I myself had broken a bone in my foot and elderly members in our party could not manage this plus we had equipment in them that was of concern I explained we had fully explained and that it was confirmed with Snaptrip the owner said we would have to remove them right away as one of the neighbours had complained as the vehicles were not over hanging any other property We could not understand the reasoning for this our fishing equipment is very expensive and leaving it in an unlit car park and worrying about it let alone the walk in pitch black ruined the holiday mon to sat morning at nearly £800.00 is totally unacceptable and although we explained to Snaptrip we feel they should of been more forthright in ensuring we were happy with the out come if the owners have disputes with their neighbours it should not of spoilt the time that we spent there very disappointing!!!"

"Difficult to get into the property problem with the key safe. We rang the owner and hopefully they will get it sorted for the future. Also had trouble locating guest information book it was in amongst the games under the coffee table but would have been better on top of the coffee table so easy to find and use immediately which is what you need when you first arrive. All very new and clean. All very comfortable. Wouldn't recommend for dog owners or young children as it is on the edge of the cliff with no fencing. Lots of squirrels, rabbits, foxes and dear and if your dog is likely to chase any of these could quite easily go off the cliff edge, we used a lead every time we let the dog out. Easy access to the beach for long walks. One local pub closed down and the other although they took dogs it was in an uninviting conservatory also we went down for food Friday evening and although their web site says food they don't do it this time of the year (we stayed 2-9 Nov) lucky Tesco about 5 minute drive away. If you just want a really good rest and chill out its a perfect place"

"We had a great relaxing weekend, modern well equipped lodge in a great setting it wouldn't feel cramped even with 4 adults. Didn't manage to get any connection to wi-fi & mobile reception in & out but that's the area, didn't suffer from a spell off the grid. The local area is quiet, walks on the beach & the small local nature reserve are just what we wanted for the dog. We met our aim which was not to use the car all weekendAs the owners guide notes say, the closest pub isn't worth the effort. On Friday it had no beer? & by Saturday it wasn't even opening, the White Horse in the village is a nice pub with a good menu.Overall this is our 4th trip to the area in different types of accommodation but this was the most comfortable & best located, we would definitely look to return."

"S86178 is a first class holiday lodge in a superb location overlooking the sea. It is very well furnished, extremely comfortable, warm and provides all the facilities you need for a great stay. The lodge is surprisingly large with an ensuit bathroom to each bedroom, a very large lounge/dining/kitchen area and a very large outside decking area. The site on which the lodge is situated is small compared to several of the other sites in the area and is very quiet and peaceful. Locally, there is a pub but regrettably no shop. You need to travel a tad further into Hopton-on-Sea for a 24/7 shop. Otherwise, it's around 5 minutes into Lowestoft where all the main facilities can be found."

"Excellent new year break. Cottage was stunning with everything we needed available. Very well equipped cottage. Log burner was great and the luxury hamper very well received. We even used the boat on New Year's Day but did have to give it a good clean first. Only downside would be how slippery the decking and patio was. Just 20 min use of a pressure washer would have made all the difference. I do appreciate it was new year and probably not normally used much but it was beautiful weather and we love being outside."
