"We arrived 3 hours early for check in, had a quick look at what we'd booked for the week and boy were we not disappointed. The wife had booked this place whilst I was working nights and was wondering what she'd booked for us, I need not have worried, in fact I had to take my hat off to her and compliment her on such an excellent choice. 3 hours later after a quick visit to the Village of St. Maybn and a bite to eat in the local Pub ( St. Maybn Inn, which I can highly recommend ) we checked in to our home for the week. Gobsmacked is the only way I can describe this little Gem that the wife had found. Beautiful surroundings, excellent decor and retro furniture, the beds were a dream to sleep in and the Farmers Cockerills even waited till about 7am before making any noise, the horses in the field at the bottom of the garden soon became our friends as did the neighbours little dog, Polly, who spent many an evening with us as we relaxed around the firepit in the garden. S13382 itself was a delight to stay in and if I were to return to Cornwall again would definitely book this place again. The whole family enjoyed this holiday with so many places of interest to visit and beaches to chill out on. Lands End was a 60 mile drive but we broke that up by visiting Waterfront Bay (not really the best of beaches we visited) and the on the way back popped in to Penzance for something to eat (the pub near Lands End had stopped doing food at 3pm otherwise we'd have eaten there) Cornwall is such a lovely place and would rate this as one of my best holidays."

"We stayed at S82546 for 1 week and used the accommodation as a base for exploring Cornwall. The barn is well equipped and an excellent welcome pack is provided. The facilities are good if you want to cook or just relax with a take out. The barn is quite remote which is nice if your looking for peace and quiet. Overall we had a good stay, however bookers should be aware that the bedroom is in the roof space and is accessed via a steep ladder. The head hight is not great and at 5ft 6 I could just stand up. If you have mobility issues you should contact the renter or OLA to discuss. The bathroom is on the ground floor, which was an issue for me negotiating the ladder from the loft bedroom late at night. I only marked this down because maintenance and cleanliness needs some attention to detail. This was fairly minor. The barn is very dog friendly and our pooch loved it. I would recommend this accommodation but because of the bedroom situation I would not book it again."

"From the initial friendly welcome, the scones, jam & clotted cream, through to the quality of all equipment in the cottage - all bases were covered and left us needing or wanting for nothing. The log fire and log fired hot tub were fantastic with a never ending supply of logs, firelighters and kindling. It's very obvious that a lot of care, planning and investment has gone into the cottage and this certainly pays off when you stay there. We both had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute we spent in the cottage, and would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone who considering it."

"The cottage is lovely and the facilities are pretty much as described. There are a couple of issues, the access to the mezzanine is bordering on dangerous. The treads on the ladder are unusual and require total concentration to navigate safely, not too difficult in light but when dark very challenging. The TV and set top box have a mind of their own, quite frustrating. The cottage was spotlessly clean but there was a delay in accessing it on the scheduled day of arrival because of an issue with ..."

"This was a lovely cottage within a courtyard of buildings, it had everything you could want for a comfortable stay and although we had not booked the hot tub we were offered the use when we arrived. It was situated just off the A39 making access to all parts of Cornwall very easy. There was a warm welcome with a cake and everything to make tea an coffee including a great coffee maker. What a lovely place to spend a week."
