What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In St. Just To Rent.

"The cottage was in a lovely location and St Just is within walking distance. The cottage itself was functional and had all of the necessary pots/pans etc however it was let down by lack of essentials such as dishwasher tablets, hand soap (we had left over dregs and had to buy our own)simple condiments such as salt and pepper etc. These things do not cost much but would give a better impression especially as 4 dishwasher tabs had been left- we stayed for a week- this seemed a little stingey!Other cottages that we have stayed in have all had these.Unfortunately we did not get to use the tired looking garden furniture which was under a sheet around the side of the house. The enclosed garden was adequate but we felt more could have been made of it and the same for the interior of the cottage. The shower was nice and powerful but very small bathroom which wouldn’t be suitable for families.I agree with one of the previous reviewers with regards to the cleanliness of the cottage. Whilst we appreciate it is an old cottage we do expect a certain level of cleanliness. Neither of us were bothered by spiders etc however the inside of the fridge was grubby and also the shower cubicle had visible mould. We did experience issues with parking on two occasions and had to walk ten mins down the road to our car which was not ideal.S21362 is sweet but has the potential to be great with a few simple improvements."

"Steve made sure it was clean for an early arrival for us. It’s very close to the shops less then 5 min walk through the back gate. I loved the small touches as coffee tea milk and biscuits on arrival was great. It’s situated in the perfect place for exploring. Very quiet area. My son is special needs and don’t settle straight away in new surroundings. Well he settled as soon as we got in. Slept well. The only thing if I had to put a downer on it. Is getting in and out of the driveway if you have a big car you will struggle but don’t let this put you off as there is plenty off free parking over the back 2 min walk. I have a quashqi I got in and out . Easier to drive in reverse out up to turning point and come back. We’re definitely come back love the place very cosy thank you Steve from Ali kath and Alfie x"

"Cottage is small but ideal for two + dog - shower facilities are good as are the kitchen facilities. There is no tv signal which may be a problem for some visitors- we read a great deal and watched a few dvds in the evening. Location is quite remote but that was our intent. We were lucky with the weather with only one day of mizzle - lots to see in area and plenty of pubs with good food available. One downside was the rather worn settee where hubby almost needed assistance to get out of! Also when the wind was in one direction the windows did little to stop it leaving me to try and set up additional glazing with newspapers! Perhaps this could be looked at - I would think could only be worse as it gets colder."

"The S38214 is a nice play to stay for a couple for a few days but for a week there is not enough space. Unfortunately the cottage is not like it is advertised in regards to the location nor does it specify on the advertisement where it is located, which means for a couple that does not drive it is a mile walk to the nearest bus stop.Unfortunately the cottage is not suitable for tall people, yeah I is a converted single story cow barn but features like the bed and the shower and not long enough nor high enough.Aaron the owner was very helpful when we had a problem with the toilet and shower not draining properly and he sorted it within 20 minutes of us informing him."

"Very lovely, comfortable cottage. Lots of room for a studio style cottage, comfortable bed/sofa and very cute snug which I used much more than I expected to! Fantastic kitchen absolutely everything you could need. Love the area of lands end and if you want to be close to sennen cove then it's perfect. Very small track road to get down to cottage,if you've been to the area before you'll expect it however definitely not ideal if you're a nervous driver! Shame the cottage didn't have an outdoor space to sit in at the end of the day, was very jealous of the cottage next door! Overall couldn't fault it and would highly recommend."
