"3 hours after arriving at S56521 the gas supply ran out, and as there wasn't any gas we couldn't take a shower or do any cooking, so every night for 4 nights we had to boil kettles for 10 people. Our Grandchildren and foster child were looking forward to using the swimming pool, so using it was out of the question. The owner of the property initially blamed it on the gas supplier, but we later discovered the supplier was made bankrupt long before. When the gas delivery man arrived on Wednesday morning he informed me that as the previous gas supplier went bust there was no way of checking the gas level through them. Every year we treat our sons, their partners, Grandchildren and foster children to a holiday where we could all have quality time together, but unfortunately this holiday turned out to be very stressful for everyone. The owner was kind enough to treat us all for a meal at her restaurant, she also didn't charge us for using the pool when the heating came back on. As there were 10 of us we declined her offer to send us to a hotel every day to take a shower. We notified the owner that we found a soiled nappy between the mattress protector and bed sheet, and she said it was disgusting . In another room there were mouse droppings behind a cupboard, and when we pointed out that the bed sheets were soiled in one of the beds she immediately replaced them. In the children's upstairs bedroom the window glass was held together with sellotape. Prior to making our journey to S56521 we received a phone call from the owner to inform us that there was a leak in the upstairs shower, and not to use it. When we eventually had hot water we could only use 1 wet room and 1 bath between 10 people."

"Spacious, well-equipped property ideal for large groups (we were a family of 15 including 2 senior citizens, one person with mobility restrictions but able to manage steps & 8 children aged 3-13 years). The property was nice & clean, with comfy beds, a good number of toilets/bathrooms with reliable hot water & heating. A downside is the distance between kitchen & dining room but there is a hostess trolley/plate warmer & large griddles for keeping food warm so it is possible to work around. All rooms have double beds except one twin room & one triple room (double plus single) so some children had to share a double bed & 2 others had camp beds because they didn't want to share. If a couple of double beds could be exchanged for zip & links it would increase room flexibility. However, as we booked this property somewhat last minute, we were willing to accept the sleeping arrangements as they were."

"Have just got back from a wonderful weekend There was a party of 10 & two dogs. Everything we could of hoped for plenty of comfy seating in lounge, large kitchen with lots of cutlery pots pans etc. Beds were lovely I think we all slept really well over the weekend 😊. Fantastic large backgarden plenty outdoor games supplied excellent verandah with plenty of comfy chairs. Enough towels supplied for everyone & even doggy towels which was a god send as we had forgotten ours! Two large ensuite bathrooms a downstairs toilet & another bathroom on 1st floor. Heating worked great & logs were supplied for log burner. Took a trip out to Wells-next-the-Sea beautiful fishing village & a very impressive beach with a lovely beach cafe. Thank you S17632 for making our yearly family gathering a fantastic one ❤️ x"

"This house has an amazing potential, very spacious inside, there were 4 families staying and there was plenty of space in living areas, dining areas and bedrooms and outdoor area. The location is fantastic, 3 min walking to the beach and less than 10 min to the lovely Ship Inn and centre of Mundesley. The house is comfortable enough, however is very dated and needs a complete revamping in terms of decoration, furniture, and maybe an introduction of a shower in the big bathroom and a radiator in the shower room downstairs. The couple who has just bought this house has great plans for this and I would very much look forward to coming back once this has been done. We had a lovely weekend away and were very well looked after by the owners. Communication with them was excellent!"

"S17632 is a large airy house, with comfortable furniture (all guests commented on the comfortable beds and bed linen!) and bathrooms conveniently located to allow easy access from all bedrooms. The large enclosed garden provided a safe play area for the children and the furniture on the decked area enabled the adults to supervise in comfort. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs and provision of beach towels was very much appreciated. The house is situated in a quiet village with an excellent pub/restaurant. We found that we needed to drive to the beach at Wells - next- the - sea but parking was quite straight forward. The children were delighted by Bewilderwood and Roar Dinosaur Park which were a short drive away.We all had a very relaxed and enjoyable week."
