What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Shipley To Rent.
Ms Janessa Fox Roberts, Carrick On Shannon, - verified booking
"Broughton House was absolutely charming and a lovely conversion job has been conducted on the house. The kitchen was VERY well equipped, the best I've ever seen and there was a good selection of books, DVDs and games. The bathroom is small but that's the nature of the house, it was all very pretty. The beds were comfortable, the house warm, and overall we had a wonderful stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and hope we get an opportunity to stay there again. The location is great, very close to town. The key code box meant there was ease of getting in as we arrived late at night."

"Superb cottage in an beautiful, quiet location. Owners very helpful. Parking is a problem in most places in these hills and valleys. There is adequate parking here but It was tricky to negotiate on first arrival in the dark and heavy rain. I suggest a warning about the entrance to the access road - there are steps on the right-hand side which need to be avoided. Best memory: Walking to the pub across the fields on a sudden snowy afternoon in November - snowballs, log fire, cat, backgammon, Timothy Taylors - what more could anyone want."

"We particularly love the location of this cottage. It is a short stroll into the centre of Hebden Bridge. At night, it is far enough from the Centre to be so peaceful that we slept incredibly well. We love the atmosphere of Hebden, the scenery, the walks and the variety of small shops, pubs and cafes. We found peoplw friendly. We emjoyed returning to our cottage at the end of each day as it was comfortable and peaceful and on what we would describe as a 'colourful and characterful street' which we loved."

"We were really impressed by the beautiful location and also by the time and trouble that had been put in by the owners to make our stay enjoyable. The lodge was warm and comfortable, spotlessly clean and very tastefully and comprehensively equipped. We arrived to find a lovely welcome pack and Sarah had even shopped for us as she knew we would be late arriving. We are looking forward to returning there in the New Year. Thoroughly recommended!"
- Mrs Coupe, July 2018 - verified booking
"Spotless, comfortable, private and safe accommodation in a very convenient location for Harrogate and surrounding picturesque Yorkshire villages. A lovely sun trap with the verandah getting sun all day and an enjoyable relaxing spot for sundowners. Sarah and the family were very obliging when we arrived a little early and the welcome pack a very nice touch. Thank you Sarah we had a lovely week and wouldn't hesitate to re-book."
