"We had a lovely week at Parc Y Bryn Lodge. The cottage was very clean and well designed. The beds were comfortable, the shower and heated towel rail were efficient, and the kitchen cooker also worked very well - not always the case in holiday accommodation. We enjoyed the features like the decking outside the main bedroom and the courtyard garden. Our daughter loved seeing the cows and horses in the nearby fields. We have stayed in the area before, and enjoyed our walks along the beaches and in the countryside around Llanelli, Llansteffan, Kidwelly and Pembry. Simon, the owner, was friendly, helpful and informative. The main house and gardens make an attractive and secluded setting but also the holiday property has been designed to be private and give you your own space.Parc Y Bryn is located up quite a steep, twisty road, and you do need to drive to access the villages and towns. It's located a mile or two up the road from Ferryside. As we were looking for a very quiet location, this suited us. We felt genuinely rested and refreshed after our week's holiday, and we'd recommend Parc Y Bryn Lodge."

"Spotlessly clean. The house is situated across the drive from the owners own house and he controls the central heating. We arrived in pouring rain which continued for 3 days, it was cold in the house, the owner said that he would put on the heating provided that we paid extra for it, he then agreed to give us 2 hours worth of heating for free on the second day but we would have to pay extra for any further heating.I thought that the rental price included central heating but this was not the case. One combined bathroom and loo is not sufficient for six people!I was disappointed to find that the nice decked area is on the first floor leading off the bedroom, I was expecting it to be at ground floor level! There were too many Rules of use and I did not feel comfortable here. There is no local shop."

"We had a superb time at the Maesoland Farm House over Christmas. Outstripped our expectations. very well equipped, well presented and clean. WiFi is very good. Property is very well situated for local amenities and beaches. Beautiful countryside. House is well suited for adults and children. Plenty of parking space and nice garden green at the back, which would be great for summer barbecues. Owner was very helpful and accommodating, from the time we booked our holidays to our arrival to the farm house. Also had Christmas decorations already set up which added to a very homely feel of the property. Staying at Maesoland Farm House gave us a beautiful and fun family Christmas we will remember forever. Would highly recommend the property to anybody."

"We had a lovely time and the lodge itself is clean, tidy and has some wonderful finishing touches. The space was a little small for our growing family and small things like a larger washing surer would have been great. The main drawback was the wifi not working. My husband is self employed and had been relying on the wifi to get things done in the evening. This meant he had to spend a couple of holiday days in a hotel working whilst I took the kids off myself. And he was also anxious about not even being able to make phone calls due to very patchy signal. Both were unavoidable and not simon's fault at all, but are very important aspects to us when we go on holiday and wifi availability was one of the reasons we chose this lodge"

"This cottage is absolutely amazing. The owners are so friendly and helpful with lots of suggestions of places to visit. The cottage itself is immaculate and beautifully presented. The pictures really don't do it justice. It is so well stocked, it's like having my own kitchen at home with me with everything from Tupperware to baking equipment to laundry essentials. We really couldn't have asked for more. Location-wise there isn't loads close by so you do need to expect to do a bit of driving for your holiday but it is a perfect central point to get to anywhere from the west coast to Swansea or the Brecon Beacons in about an hour. I would definitely recommend this cottage and will return ourselves at some point in the future."
