"This cottage is beautiful, it is fully equipped with all mod cons and every essential item you will ever need , the only thing you need bring is food and toiletries to use. It has all cleaning products there and all cooking things like foil, cling film. Toilet roll is also provided as are tea, coffee and sugar. The rooms are stunning all nearly decorated to a high standard it really felt like a luxury home and it wasn't too far from anywhere . We stayed 5 night and visited Aberystwyth, aberporth, cardigan and we also did loads of sight seeing to local beauti spots. Too many to mention but the owners have left a box full of interesting places to visit, you won't be short of places to go or things to see! The location is rural but stunning if you truly want a get away from it all . There is a log fire in the living room and a log burner on the patio which was lovely to sit in front of in the night. The owners supplied us with loads of wood for the fires and both Jason, Bev and their 2 girls were absolutely fabulous nothing was too much trouble they just wanted us all to have the best time while staying there. Oh I forgot to say all bedding and towels are also supplied as are beach chairs and sun umbrellas .I honestly can't fault this cottage it truly is beautiful one thing I will say which I found to be a blessing is their isn't much of a phone signal there but wifi is provided free of charge . We will be going back again as it was one place I found to totally re charge my batteries . We stayed in August 2016.Sam, Nerys, Catlyn and Cae our mad dog who also thought he was in paradise ."

"Pen-Y-Fedw was the perfect size for us with our daughters family staying along with us. It has everything you need for your stay and the owners were great. The house itself if updated and modernised a little would be a truely great place to stay it just felt tired and in need of some tlc. There is a large Morrisons super market about 5 miles away which was no hardship driving to but you do need a car as there are no local amenities you can walk to. The garden was perfect for our young grandchildren to play in, in the evenings. On the downside we were a little shocked to have water seeping into the main eating area around the old range alongside the kitchen. This was mopped up by the owner when I mentioned it to her. This happened twice whilst we stayed the second time not quite so bad as the first. Our youngest grandson was found playing in the water on the first morning this happened as he got downstairs before any of the adults. Apparently when the wind blows in a certain direction it blows the rain down the old chimney to the now redundant range. Whilst this might add to the overall charm of the place in some folks view we thought that that if this is an on going occurrence it should be sorted out."

"For our first holiday in South West Wales we wanted a holiday home in a central location so that we could visit lots of different areas of coastline and Yr Hafan met that requirement perfectly. Within 90 minutes of driving we visited most areas of the coast between Tenby and Aberaeron, returning to the peacefulness of the countryside each evening. Yr Hafan had everything we wanted and expected from a holiday home. Jason and Beverley are perfect hosts and are very keen for their guests to have a wonderful holiday; nothing is too much trouble for them. They have clearly thought carefully about what holidaymakers would need to visit the area. There are plenty of guidebooks, OS Maps, books, DVDs, CDs and board games for guests to use. The log burner was a real treat, especially on a cooler summer evening as were the outdoor seating area complete with chimenea and garden with trampoline. The wifi signal is strong in all areas of the house. Thank you for helping us to have a wonderful, relaxing holiday and thank you for accommodating us with our extremely late booking!"

"The property is situated mid-way between Carmarthen to the north and Kidwelly to the south. The Morrisons supermarket at Carmarthen is very convenient for all catering needs. There is a lovely castle at Kidwelly, and south of Kidwelly is a holiday park with an excellent range of activities, including beach, cafe, cycle hire, horse riding, to name but a few. Access to places of interest to the west (in the direction of Tenby) is facilitated by good roads, so travelling farther afield is easy and increases the options.. Gellideg is a very interesting property, both in layout and historic content of interest (e.g. pictures, photos and memorabilia). It has excellent views to the rear and is pleasantly and quietly situated. It has a secluded veranda which faces south, with space to sit & relax. July 2009. "

"We had a superb time at the Maesoland Farm House over Christmas. Outstripped our expectations. very well equipped, well presented and clean. WiFi is very good. Property is very well situated for local amenities and beaches. Beautiful countryside. House is well suited for adults and children. Plenty of parking space and nice garden green at the back, which would be great for summer barbecues. Owner was very helpful and accommodating, from the time we booked our holidays to our arrival to the farm house. Also had Christmas decorations already set up which added to a very homely feel of the property. Staying at Maesoland Farm House gave us a beautiful and fun family Christmas we will remember forever. Would highly recommend the property to anybody."
