"We had a lovely stay at Top Barn. The barn itself is clean, modern, well done and perfectly kitted out, although we found the sofas very uncomfortable. Lovely big space outside. We knew the house was some distance from amenities etc as explained in the description of the barn, which we thought wouldn’t be a problem but by the end of the week we were a bit fed up with it, and is the only reason we wouldn’t stay there again. This didn’t have anything to do with the Barn itself, which I would highly recommend as long as you are happy in the middle of nowhere (plus side is that Tesco delivered!) The other thing to note is that you are in very close proximity to the owners so your paths do cross (which wasn’t an issue for us) and they do cross the garden space to get to barns every day so if you are looking for somewhere super private this wouldn’t be the house for you."

"My family and I had a fantastic week in Moss Cottage. It is perfectly located, just a minute's walk away from local shops and 5 minutes from the lovely Burry Port beaches and sand dunes. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is large and lovely for children to play in; the beds are comfortable and the owners have a real flair for interior decorating. The owners, Henry and Sarah, couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and were available throughout the week to give advice and support. We would absolutely love to stay here again in future."

"This is a wonderful 300-year-old cottage with all the features you would expect. It is very cosy, on a working dairy farm with wonderful friendly dogs. The owners are truly lovely. The weather was not great while we were there but we did have two sunny days which we spent on the nearby beaches. If you want to get away from it all then this cottage is for you. We took our two teenage daughters, one of whom, we thought, could not live without wifi. Turns out she did! A definite plus! One very very very tiny issue...please can you buy a new breadknife? and that's all. Thank you for a wonderful week x"

"Beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil location. The cottage has been created for families to be comfortable and enjoy with great thought into every detail to make you feel at home. Our girls 3&5 loved the dvds games, books and toys. And there was lots of space for them to play. The hosts are so welcoming on arrival and during the stay, making us feel looked after and relaxed. Lots of details to accommodate dog owners too-even their own dog bowls and towels! We look forward to returning again. This is a place not to miss, one of the best cottages we have found, we highly recommended."

"It's quiet, peaceful, warm, clean and cosy. The essentials are provided (towels, cleaning cloths, washing up liquid, loo rolls, tea towels, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans, milk, coffee, tea and sugar) and you can control the temperature in the three rooms (open plan lounge/diner/kitchen, bathroom and bedroom) individually.Chris and Pat are very approachable, friendly and helpful. It's in the middle of nowhere hence the low 'Local amenities' score but that, for us, was the lure of the cottage. We're hoping to go back next year!"
