"A lovely quirky little space, a minute's walk from the sea (slightly further than I could throw a stone). We were there the first week in October and the weather was brilliant meaning we could make good use of the BBQ on the decking area. The dog enjoyed the friendly pubs and cafe, all just a short walk away. The cooking facilities were great for breakfast but limited if cooking a dinner, had the weather been too bad to BBQ. Hosts were available and helpful but unobtrusive (That's ideal in my book). It may have felt a little cramped had the weather been bad but escape to the local pubs would have been easy. In easy reach of plenty of picturesque and interesting places on the coast or nestled in the Downs. Strains of Pink Floyd coming from the main house on a weekend afternoon iced my cake."

"We were two couples, a toddler and a dog staying at the Pit Stop for the weekend. We had a great time. The Pit Stop is very well-equipped, with everything from egg cups to kites, and a thoughtful welcome hamper. One of the bedrooms can be configured as a twin or a double - if a double it is super-king-sized, which is great. The building has art deco frontage and the theme is carried through the interior, which is really unusual; we liked it a lot. The beach is a five minute walk and East Preston has some nice restaurants and a lovely little bakery. We would definitely stay at the Pit Stop again if we were in the area."

"This cottage is in a fabulous location close to the high Street and sea front in a quaint little town. The only reason I didn't give an overall rating of 10 is because of the very minor issue with car parking i.e on a couple of occasions I was not able to park in the nearest car park but it is only a short walk to the next nearest so it wasn't a disaster! The cottage itself is really warm, welcoming and cosy and very well equipped to a high standard. Val also was very welcoming and helpful - we had a fabulous holiday and would definitely recommend this cottage"

"Dolphina is a bijou studio with everything I needed for my visit to the Sussex area. The owners were friendly and welcoming. I wasn't keen on the internet TV (so everything had to be watched on catch up and not everything was available) but I wasn't in much so it didn't affect my stay all that much. I liked the location - the beach is just a very short walk away and other guests indicated that it was very safe for swimming because of the sea defences (but it was a bit cold to try this out for myself!) Close to Bognor, Brighton, and Chichester."

"A really great apartment - with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Apart from the weather! Our fault that we chose the coldest and snowiest week of the winter - but it was so warm and comfortable that we still enjoyed our "early spring" break. Had a glitz on arrival as we couldn't lock the front door - but the management sorted it within a couple of hours. Great location, fantastic accommodation and wonderful back-up: plus an on site café for breakfasts and lunches. We are already planning another stay in the autumn."
