"Ease of booking online via the website and contact with the owner by telephone to confirm arrival time. Met by the owner and given a tour of the property with explanation for everything. Small welcome pack was a pleasant touch with tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine. The location is first class for golfers as it is adjacent to The Carnoustie Golf Links Hotel with plenty of beach walks available along the coast line for those who don't.The facilities were excellent with very good wifi and plenty of cupboard space for clubs etc.The lounge was spacious and well furnished and the small veranda afforded a view out to the links. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment for dining in though we found the local delivery service to be very good. We would recommend this property to friends and would return."

"From the moment we arrived we were impressed with this property. There was a welcome pack in the kitchen which contained lots of goodies and the best surprise was a gorgeous cake that had been made by Louise's eleven year old daughter, it was delicious she should go in for the bake off! The views from all of the windows in the bungalow are spectacular and the garden is very secure, which when you have 2 dogs as we do is very important. I have a back problem and usually struggle with beds when I go away anywhere but I had no problems here. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the whole house made you feel like you were at home. We loved it here and would recommend it to anybody looking for peace and quiet, but still within an easy drive of towns and cities. Well done Louise - thank you for a lovely holiday!"

"The lodge was looking very tired, and in our week there the washing machine broke, the bin lid broke, the tumble dryer stopped working, the TV reception was intermittent, there was no WIFI and the hot water tank didn't seem to hold enough water for four of us to shower in the morning. But the staff were fantastic and came to fix the washing machine almost straight away and explained that the tv interference was being caused by the trees. Strangely, we've been in quite a few different lodges and have never had a problem with tv reception before, so perhaps it is just the lodge that we were in that was affected? The bin lid wasn't really a problem and the tumble dryer gave up the ghost on our second last day, so we just reported these to reception on leaving."

"Amazing lodge 5 * luxury and more . We had the most relaxing time away from it all in this gorgeous lodge and beautiful surroundings we couldn't have asked for anything more . It was our privilege to be the first guest to stay here and we were not dissapointed. There were many personal touches with a lovely welcome basket ,fresh milk and eggs in the fridge and a lovely bottle of fizz in the wine cooler i even found some Easter treats hidden away in one of the cupboards and the Eco tub was perfect nice and relaxing. Janice is the most friendly lovely lady and was on hand if and when we needed her nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Snowdrop Lodge if you are looking for that special get away with 5 * luxury we will definitely be back ."

"Wonderful size property with lots of room to spread out. Lovely features such as original fire places, sash windows and a wonderful staircase. Billiard room kept many occupied in the evenings whilst others enjoyed the peace of the drawing room. All bedrooms have their own en-suite (baths with showers over), these are spacious and all in our party of 10 slept well. As there is no pub within walking distance, the Bar had plenty of use, it's generously equipped with plenty of fridge space. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of areas for kids to play and explore. We used the external caterers recommended the owner for a 50th Birthday celebration. We would highly recommend these to anyone looking to have a special meal during their stay."
