"All started off well until bed time .... the bed in master bedroom fell through during the night, every night. Spoke with owner who replied that the week before there was a very NICE family who stayed and there were no issues! The bed slats were not properly fixed and there was not a center bar to hold the bed frame and slats in place. We were told after the second night that the maintenance guy had been informed and we were in a queue. We explained that we no longer could sleep in the bed so they said to put our son in the broken bed and for us to sleep on the sofa bed! The swimming pool was great for the children until we went one morning and there was a sign up that it would be closed for a week due to maintenance. The owner messaged us regarding the bed repair to say the maintenance guy wouldn’t be able to come and fix the bed just yet due to having to fix the pool as there was a glass smashed in the pool. Which was incorrect according to maintenance guy on site when we went over to the pool after being told this and to see if we could hurry along the bed repair. He informed us that the pool was definitely not closed due to a smashed glass and that it was closed to get new pump fitted. They also said their maintenance people don’t carry out work for that property as it’s privatly owned. We raised the concern with the operator about the bed and was advised we should have some money back as we had to buy a air bed and take children out 30 miles to swimming pools. At first the owner messaged us to say they would give us some back as a good will gesture, but then retracted this and told the operator when contacted regarding this they wouldn’t be doing so. Thankfully the operator was there to argue our case that a broken bed isn’t right. If it wasn’t for the owners attitude we wouldn’t of pushed things further. The beaches in the area are absolutely amazing. It’s just the accommodation issue that let it down for us."

"We feel that Sea View is being completely mis sold. There was NO dishwasher, No BT Broadband, No Netflix, The outside barbeque was rusted with no inner trays so could not be used, the onsite restaurant and bar was only open on a Friday and Saturday night, out of season there is no where to eat on a Monday, the sea view is there but only if you have binoculars and look past all the other caravans, there were stains on the carpet, soap left in the shower trays, neither shower could be raised and the one in the ensuite didn't stay in the holder and the seat wouldn't stay closed. Private parking ??? if you see a space, you get it, the decking area around is enclosed but not private, everyone can see you. we were extremely disappointed with the whole package and for what we paid, it most certainly wasn't worth it. The pictures used to portray this lodge are obviously from when the place was new, it is very tired looking now and needs attention, also too much personal stuff left in wardrobes."

"My friend and I stayed at the delightful Cwmtrwch Cottage from 9th to 16th October 2015. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back there at the earliest opportunity. The beds were really comfortable, something we often find seriously lacking at other places we have stayed in the UK. We went for a swim every morning in the extremely pleasant pool which was never crowded, and we also enjoyed the jacuzzi and steam room. A real treat! Our hosts, Stewart and Emma, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The location was nice and peaceful. We had delicious cakes and tea in the cafe. Only and 15 minutes drive and we were at the beautiful Aberglasney Gardens and a mere 10 minutes drive took us to the fascinating National Botanic Gardens of Wales. Venturing further-a-field, we visited the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. All in all a very enjoyable holiday. Can't wait to go back again. Many thanks. Sorry about all the adjectives but I can't help it. It was so AMAZING!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at Cwmtwrch Cottage and we enjoyed it just as much this time as we did the first time. The main draw for us is the use of the indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room. We walked over there every morning of our stay and had a swim plus a relax in the jacuzzi and steam room before breakfast. It was just what two busy, hard-working ladies needed. Tescos in Carmarthen was within easy reach for our shopping and we visited Dinefwr Park and Castle National Trust property and on another day had a good walk on the beach at Llansteffan. We also visited relatives while we were in the area and spent time with them. The cottage is very comfortable. The only disappointment about Cwmtwrch is the grounds around the whole complex. It looked very neglected and in need of some TLC. Can't fault the warm welcome we received though, from Emma and Stewart, our hosts. Lovely people! All-in-all a nice break in a nice place."
