"We absolutely loved our stay at Ty Capel, it far exceeded our expectations. The cottage was beautifully and sympathetically renovated with loads of character, and we found it comfortable, roomy and really well equipped. We cooked a full roast dinner one afternoon and found everything we could possibly want in the kitchen. The dishwasher came in handy for the cleanup too! We were delighted to find a bottle of wine and some delicious home baked muffins on a tea tray on our arrival - such a lovely welcoming touch and it made us feel like wanted guests rather than merely paying customers. Our pup was also well catered for with dog biscuits on arrival, as well as bowls and some folded towels by the bowls to dry him off. There was wood for the fire, which we took advantage of in the evenings, and best of all was the loveliest peace and quiet at the end of the lane with a fantastic view across to a craggy hill, with sheep grazing by the slate fence. The enclosed garden was wonderful for our pup to run around in safely (and away from the sheep!), and we sat and drank coffee and tea in the morning sunshine at the garden table. We just loved everything about it! Our stay was filled with long walks, beach strolls, long lazy baths and great food, and the cottage was a fantastic base to return to in the evenings where we felt comfortable and relaxed. Ty Capel was perfectly placed for all the things we wanted to do on our trip, visits to Beddgelert - to walk the Cwm Bychan and Aberglaslyn Pass Walk, visit Gelerts grave, have some lunch and do some shopping- a trip to Porthmadog to stock up on groceries on the way to the beach, a visit to Inigo Jones Slateworks, the lovely dog friendly beach at Cricceth and lunch of the best fish and chips ever, washed down with lovely Welsh Ale, at Moorings Bistro in Porth-y-Guest. We were quite curious about the Chapel itself, which we had read about in the folder left on the coffee table and packed with information about the area and the property. We had the luck to meet Sarah at the end of our stay as we were leaving - she was just lovely and offered to satisfy our curiosity and show us inside the Chapel. Her passion for renovating the property and for the area shone through in our conversation, and their vision for the chapel renovation sounds amazing, we can't wait to see it finished! We have already decided we want to come back in winter and stay at the cottage in the snow. Everything was perfect for us and Sarah so welcoming and friendly that we will definetely be back to stay on our next visit to Wales."

"The place was fantastic, great quality building and furnishings for example the leather sofas and TV were more than we expected to find - the only problem being the weather was so nice that we didn't really use them! The kitchen and dining area is perfectly sized and the wooden table outside is a nice touch as we had all our meals and breakfasts out there on that. The garden is just about big enough for team frisbee too! It's a 20 minute walk to Whistling Sands - the nearest beach, albeit with nothing else there. Aberdaron is a 5-10 minute drive down the road but it is worth it as it is a lovely village situated on the hill right next to the sea. We walked straight out the door to the west coast of the Lleyn and up along the coast to the Hughes point then down into Aberdaron for drinks. It takes 2/3 hours depending on how many sea rocks you decide to scramble over."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Ty Capel Bwlch. The location was exactly what we look for, nice and private. The accommodation was lovely and I felt at home almost straight away. I loved the kitchen and diner area, it was very well equipped and the wine and homemade fruit loaf that was there to welcome us was delicious!! The garden was nice and large for the dog to run and sniff about in and he was very happy. Thanks also to Sarah who had gone above and beyond when it came to thinking of our little girls safety. It is very much appreciated that you took the time to think of any little things that may have cropped up and called me to discuss them - and for being so friendly and approachable with all my questions!"

"<strong>Best of Wales is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with.</strong> Gareth was very welcoming and helpful as well as Louise who perfectly cleaned the house and opened its door when our keys were, by mistake, forgotten inside the house! The property was new, very clean, tidy and cosy. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped and bathrooms were provided with hand-wash. The furniture (beds & sofas) were new and comfortable. In general, It's stylish and spotless and we instantly felt relaxed and at home. Would definitely recommend it and book it again!<br /> Recommends visitng: Cardiff city centre, Cardiff Castle, Cardiff Bay"

"We had a chilled relaxing 3 night break, the modern well equiped apartment has everything you'd need if you planned to cook and has a washing machine, also has fishing lakes on site. We visited nearby Aberdaron for the sandy beach and coastal walks along with pwhelli and abersoch, you do need to drive to visit aberdaron which has couple of pubs, cafes, bakery, fish and chips and couple of little shops. We would certainly stay again and hire push bikes, or just to watch the sun set from the beach, an ideal base to visit the rest of the llyn pennisular. Lovely surprise of homemade jam and welshcakes when we arrived along with milk - a welcome bonus!"
