"My husband and I have just spent 9 nights at Il Monte. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and very charming with an equipped kitchen (4-burner cooktop/no oven) and modern bathroom. The scenery surrounding the property is simply breathtaking. Our hosts were friendly but respected privacy and they had a lovely friendly dog – we miss Theo!! Francesca speaks English fluently and Adriana speaks Italian and some French. I understand that Adriana runs a restaurant on the property during peak season. There is a large unheated swimming pool and property is not air conditioned although that was not an issue whatsoever for us. There are several choices of accommodations - 1, 2 3 bedroom all of which are lovely and comfortable. The setting is remote, quiet and secluded ~ 3 hours drive from Rome airport. Best to rent an SUV not smallest vehicle for rough terrain. Probably not best for guests with physical challenges because terrain is quite steep. Barns and horses very well kept and we enjoyed rides immensely. Francesca is a very professional and patient instructor. It is a short drive to Monte Santa Maria Tiburina with a couple of restaurants or a bit further to Citte di Castello for many to choose from. You can buy groceries at Conad along the way – make sure to buy paper towel, tissues and toilet tissue as well as all food/drink that you need as it is a fairly long (+20 min) drive to buy anything. There is a small “tuck shop” at Oscarias Restaurant in Monte Santa Maria Tiburina. We loved our visit and hope to return again soon. We never wanted to leave!"

"Casale Ferrari is a beautiful, large and comfortable beautifully converted farmhouse is situated on a hilltop in the splendid Umbrian countryside. In clear weather you can from the hill on which the house is located, Subasio you are, which Assisi is built. The enclosed garden is enormous. So there is plenty of space for children to play and exercise. Well bring your own material. Just as in the whole of Umbria is also nothing in the house for children to find. It's like the lady from the tourist office in Todi said: "We have history" ... Valkbij Panicale is however a huge piscina Intercomunale with glijbanen.Het is great silent. The house is indeed quite remote. When choosing this, as we have done, can enjoy. The disadvantage is that one - there are no north-south connections from Monte Giove - a starting point for a drive and a larger supermarket is always at least 20 kilometers to ride. Every journey one makes must therefore be increased by 40 miles per definition to Fabro or Marsciano. From the kitchen window you look out at La Scarzuola, an old Franciscan monastery, now expanded by an architect to an experimental architectural candy. Very nice and really worth a visit. A house like you"

"The friendly welcome of Mr. Ferrari was heartwarming. In fluent English, we were shown around. The house is just beautiful! Very spacious and all conveniences. The beds were neatly made and there were certainly enough towels aanwezig.De large "wild" garden "is equipped with a hammock and garden 2 different rooms. There is also a nice table tennis available. Lovely BBQ was not used by us for the sake of the extreme drought. (fire) You as a couple, family relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and delicious Italian cuisine. (with the delicious olive Mr. Ferrari itself) The only disadvantage is that the house is very secluded. It is 20 min drive through the hills to the nearest shop. If you want to make a trip (Assisi, Perugia, ...) you must first anyway the hill which is a half-hour time vraagt.Daardoor the distances Fri groot.Door the remote location (dichste neighbors living within 1 km) we did not really feel completely safe "at night. But of course this is very personal."

"We are neatly taken care of and taken to our apartment. This was very basic but in order on what kitchen stuff after (things like bowls, mugs, spatulas we have later bought themselves) Apartments are very noisy so if you have people above you who get up early and like to shove chairs then that is a point. What was the biggest annoyance, however, was the fact that the owner locked his dog on the premises. The bark barks all day long ..... You are woken up between 7 and 8 in the morning and it continues until at least 2300. Even after complaining about this, nothing is done about it, I did the 3 weeks we were there many times seen that guests were disturbed, but it just went on.This is for me the main reason, despite the beautiful surroundings and the friendly people in that region never to go back to this location and certainly will not recommend friends and acquaintances."

"House is wonderful, almost on top of a hill in nature. Please realize that you can get only through a steep and unpaved path of a kilometer or two. Hemelsbreed few hundred meters from the village, but you do ten minutes. Gave us some feeling isolated sit. You have to love. In total there are five apartments in the agriturismo. Superb views, great pool. House is very spacious, but somewhat impractical with small kitchen and shower with low water pressure. Living rooms and bedrooms very spacious. Beautiful medieval villages in the immediate vicinity (Paciano, Panicale, Citta della Pieve, Castiglione el Lago). Slightly further afield are Orvieto and Perugia very worthwhile. Sienna is also doing very well. Nice holiday had here."
