"I liked the location and the dogs adored the beach. However they never settle into the home and neither did we. The cottage has a modern appearance and the pictures look great. However the place in the pictures is probably of the property when it was brand new. The garden isn't that generous any longer and a lodge over looks the garden it wasn't as peacful as we had hoped or as private as we wanted. Their were no views of relaxing scenery. We closed most of the blinds due to the fact we felt looked in on. The pictures to us were Alittle on the deceptive side and although it tells you the shop is close you don't expect it to be Next door. The property is in need of some TLC, little things like fixing towle holders as they fall off the walls, mold in the rooms around all the windows, The locks to the doors were really finiky and difficult to open and lock. It may feel I am nit picking but when you spend a lot of time in the place you notice all these things and each part doesn't seem like a lot but it starts to bother you. We would probably not book the same place but we did enjoy the local area and beach. Would like to see the images updated for the back garden the most because that was the most misleading part of the property. It is now half the size we were expecting and because we didn't know about the lodge behind us we felt we had to try keep our dogs in so they wouldn't bark and the people they kept seeing. But if you don't care about all of that then the area is really a lovly place. Tesco just up the road and if you travel 5 minute up the b4545 you hit a lovely town for shopping and a nice stroll. The owners are also very lovely couple and super sweet and nice. And we did enjoy our stay despite the few drawbacks."

"We were very disappointed to be misled by the photograph that showed this property to be on or next to the beach. When we arrived with our children and dogs we were shocked to be on a main road and sharing a drive and garden with a house that is directly attached next door. We were not directly next to the beach at all.The road was extremely busy and the double gate was not child or dog friendly. This ruined our break away and we wouldn’t return. The neighbours joined onto back of house left their back door open which was directly by the shared garden, one of our little dogs ran in and she was really snotty about it, making it awkward. In fact it was very awkward sharing the garden as they were out there as well. The parking was horrendous, one way in and having to all park at different angles so back neighbours could get out.The beach was dog friendly after the 1st of October. I booked this holiday as I am registered disabled and can’t walk very far, to see on arrival the beach was across a main road and not very accessible was heartbreaking for me.I wanted to leave there and then but because we had family coming to meet us I had to stay."

"The owner was a lovely lady who was a dog owner herself and didnt mind our westy staying, in fact the dogs all played together. ~We liked the fact the owner was there to ask, but if you didnt need her you wouldnt know anyone was upstairs. Her dogs are kept completely separate to the rented area which contains the driveway down, a tarmac patio with furniture and bbq equipment, clothes line and spectacular views. The flat itself was spotless and so cosy and very cool in the hot weather also, a welcome respite from the 29c temps on our holiday. The views from the flat were gorgeous and we were able to view sunrise and sunset. The area itself is ideal for the peace seekers, no noisy bars, youths, just young families and older couples with dogs etc, we will certainly be going back. Would definitely need a car to get around but inside the flat is the owners info pack with all local transports, hospitals, take aways all with added comments from previous residents which is good feedback."

"Lovely place, cottage and owners. A couple of little maintenance issues which we discussed with Ken and he got them sorted right away. We also discussed with him the description of the property on the website because it does not mention the steps down into the two ground floor bathrooms, which was a bit of an issue for me. The steps to the property front and back are noted and I reasoned that I could manage as I would only need to do it once a day at most, but I did struggle a bit having to go up and down two quite large steps to go to the toilet every time. Ken says he has told the website administrators many times about this. The beds are super comfy and there is plenty of space. The property is well equipped, although I was glad I took my own tea towels as well. Ken was very nice and helpful and they live right next door, so no excuse for anyone not bringing problems to his attention. The dog loved the beach, there are plenty of eateries and everyone was very friendly."

"As an extended family we have stayed at Sandfall six years in a row so we know the house very well, we have always enjoyed our time there . The weather has usually been good, we love the blue flag beach at Porth Dafarch and the grown ups enjoy the golf at the beach golf club nearly every day of the holidays. The house is large and comfortable and easily accommodates 14 people and a baby or two. We always cook a full roast dinner on Sunday evening, the cooker may be a bit temperamental but there is a very good microwave and a large electric steamer so we always have the works including Yorkshires. The dishwasher is great and so is the utility area for wet suits and sandy towels. Oh nearly forgot the second fridge which is great for beer and wine. The games room is very popular with children and grown up alike,as is the enclosed garden with at least four points of access from the house."
