What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In St. Endellion.
Mrs Palmer - verified booking
"Nice touches were the provision of a Nespresso machine and a generous supply of capsules and teabags. To finish it off a pint of milk in the fridge would have been perfection! We stay in many rental houses and cottages and it is always hit and miss but this one was definitely a hit. The owners are generous with their provision of basics including oil and vinegar and salt and pepper for cooking. They also make sure you have enough dishwasher tablets and include toilet paper and kitchen towel which many places just don't do. The location is lovely - a car is essential to get around but it is really close to Port Isaac and Rock and Polzeath. The house itself is warm and cosy with a sweet kitchen with everything you need to cook and a little log burner for warmth on those cold evenings. The house is heated by electric radiators which were very effective. We were a family of 4 plus 1 small dog and had a most enjoyable week!"

"When we arrived we could not operate the wall safe containing the keys, after a few failed attempts we decided to phone Mick for help as directed. We then couldn't get a mobile signal, the Port Gaverne Hotel let us use the phone and Mick said ' I will be with you in a minute. Mick and Pip arrived in less than a minute and Pip got spare keys to let us in while MIck opened the safe which had been causing some issues. The response to the problem was first class. The view from this cottage is fantastic , the position great . As this was a short break of 3 nights we didn't use all of what the cottage offered choosing to eat out each night. The food and service at the Port Gaverne Hotel next door was excellent . Stayed September 2015"

"The cottage is in a great location and is well equipped and clean. We were glad to find a table and 4 chairs that we could sit outside on. The patio area is very small and would look more inviting if the plants were cut back neatly. The borders at the front were also overgrown and full of a pile of old cuttings and the parking area was covered by plants too. Having said this everything else was positive and the beds were comfortable and the shower excellent."

"This cottage is prepared to an above standard and was very comfortable. There was a problem with the hot water one morning but a call to the housekeeper and electrician called and it was sorted whilst we were out for the morning We had various visits to The Long Cross Hotel where the food is as good as it gets (as well as the beer) We made use of the Shuttle Taxi service when we could raise the mobile number and found Mark knowledgeable and reliable"
Mr Edmund McManus - verified booking
"The cottage was nicely furnished with very comfortable beds. We were especially impressed by how well equipped the kitchen was. The reason we chose this cottage, of course, was the proximity of the Port Gaverne hotel next door with its cosy bar - perfect for a pint and the daily newspaper - and its fabulous restaurant. All in all we were delighted with the whole experience and would recommend this property highly. Stayed December 2016"
