"The majority of the beds were also very hard, which made sleeping a challenge. Beds are easily rectified with a memory foam mattress topper. In the top bedroom there is no blind so light floods in in the morning. What is disappointing is that requests for a blind in there have been in the visitor's book in the lounge for over a year so it doesn't appear that the owners are listening to feedback. The bath was the most amazing bath I have been in. So deep and it fit my 6foot hustband in with room to spare. He never has a bath but was loving this one. Good selection of toys for the bath too although I would recommend the owners bin the squishy ones as they have black bacteria in them. It was grim to have it squirted on to me by my child on the first night. The other toys and books on offer in the lounge were a great addition. The location was really good. There were some lovely walks to do with the dogs and we ventured to Poppit Sands often. Food wise there is a lovely chippy over the road for first night tea. There is an Aldi and Tesco a short drive away. There is a Premier shop 2mins walk up the road for essentials. We also went into Cardigan and ate at Pizza Tipi and El Salsa. Both had a street food vibe but the food was amazing and would highly recommend. Our favourite place to visit was the Shire Horse farm. We got there for 11ish and got to experience everything in about 4 and a half hours. My little boy loved it. All in all we loved our holiday house and whilst I have made suggestions for improvement that is to help with the customer experience."

"We had a wonderful holiday, very relaxing and perfect for us, as we have been working without a holiday for a very long time. The décor was to a very high standard, it felt lovingly put together, with every utensil you could imagine wanting, proper pans and casserole dishes etc. A holiday let that realises that not everyone can afford to eat out at every meal. We always have cottage holidays in Wales and have had some really bad kitchens with few pots and pans etc. so this was a dream! We were in the perfect position to go to run our dogs on Poppit Sands, a 5 minute drive, also Cardigan was 8 minutes away on the bus with regular buses there and back. We were in Llandudoch/St Dogmaels when there was drenching rain and gales but the weather didn't bother us, as we were comfortable, warm and cozy in our cottage. The farmers market had some lovely stuff for sale and the ruins of St Dogmaels were very interesting. I didn't want to come home although now I am home I feel well rested."

"An absolutely stunning property in an equally stunning location. Views of the river, village and the beach - It’s situated in arms reach of all the attractions Pembrokeshire has to offer; there were something new to explore everyday, one of the highlights being the coastal farm where we spotted 3 wild seals. The property was immaculate and newly renovated, it’s certainly value for money for a large party of people. Even though the property is pet friendly there was no evidence of such and that should not put you off booking this property for your break away! We enjoyed the hot tub, especially whilst under the stars. We watched the sunrise over the village from the balcony and had an over all amazing experience during our stay! The host was lovely and helped us with everything, directing us to the best places to see and where the local markets were. Thank you!"

"Loved the cottage and its facilities and really enjoyed our holiday with my 80 year old parents. We had a severely leaking kettle when we arrived but this was dealt very quickly by the owners to which we were very satisfied with. However I didn't find it as clean as it could have been. Underneath the sofas had toe nails, toy cars, lego and a lot of hair therefore clearly hadn't been cleaned before our arrival and should have been checked. I'd really recommend this beautiful cottage as its in a lovely spot, the people are very friendly. 2 lovely pubs that serve food and on the whole a very dog friendly place. The Ferry Inn our favourite for meals and The White Heart just down the road for drinks. Lots of shops in cardigan are dog friendly too. I would have given 4/5 * but cleanliness is the absolute basics for me."

"We had a fantastic stay here. The cottage was in a perfect location for trips out to Cardigan, Pembrokeshire and Poppit Sands. It had everythign we needed for a comfortable stay, in a beautiful spot. There's a shop just up the road for any essentials and the bus stops right outside the house for anyone wanting a break from driving. There's a pub and a chip shop on the same road and we had a really interesting tour of the local mill which is definitely worth a visit. The rooms were beautiful and everyone noted that they hadn't missed their home comforts while staying there. There was even a pint of milk on arrival! We would definitely stay again and could ahve easily stayed for another week. A great family holiday spot."
