"Spicy task to find the house for the first time. The road to it is at certain points very dangerous and sometimes even almost impassable with a normal car. Fortunately we had a SUV (really recommended) so we got through it fairly. Upon arrival, everything seemed fine. Reception was good by Vicki, very nice smooth British woman who led us through the house. But after looking better, the house turned out to be poorly maintained and cleaned. Kitchen sticky and dirty boxes dirty. No hood in the kitchen, which makes the whole house for food long after cooking. bathrooms very fussy too. And shower soon after 2 minutes the water became cold again. Outside the furniture is very dated. stains in the seats dirty old pillows on the sunbeds. Also, there are no umbrellas and there is no possibility to shade in the day. You can not expect anything from the outdoor kitchen to have a gas stove of 2 pits that are apart from misery. Very dirty too. All the crates contain stuffed crates, but the crates were filled with dirty rusty water where the cooking utensils lay. There was also a wasp nest in the porch but we were told that it would be empty. However, the entire week had a huge amount of wasps, which forced us to go to the beach during the day instead of staying at the lovely pool. The pool is definitely a plus of the house. Well maintained and clean. There is little to no lighting outside the house so very dark in the evening. However, the view was also phenomenal. Certainly in the evening. Beautiful sunset behind the mountain peaks. All in all, if the house is thoroughly cleaned and cleaned. And after measurements of this time are brought to experience real luxury."

"Beautiful villa with an exceptional viewThe house is beautifully situated and from there you have a phenomenal view of the sea and the mountains. The furniture (especially in the kitchen) are not the latest, but that did not bother us, as we were mainly on the terrace. The pool has a very nice size. Because the 30 minutes walk to the villa very narrow, Steep and bumpy, is definitely a 4x4 to rent. Our 2 week holiday could have been wonderful, if the pool would have been cleaned properly. On arrival the steward told us that he would come over once or twice a week to clean the pool. Already on the first day we noticed that both filters of the pool were full of leaves and the pool with every jump into the water polluted again. When the manager on the 4th day had not yet appeared for pool cleaning and greenish dirt had settled on the pool floor, we contacted him accordingly. Unfortunately, despite the promise, nobody came and the pool was always greener. Since we had no device, we could not even do the pool cleaning. We have the manager several times. Unfortunately, our requests to clean the pool, remained unsuccessful until the last day. In addition, the kitchen worktop was sticky on arrival and we found a moldy filter in the coffee maker. It's the first time we've had such a poor service with Belvilla!"

"Villa Oliva is great. The house is large, modern and well equipped. Everything you could need for a home on holiday. Each bedroom has it's own shower and air conditioning. The pool is lovely 10m long and salt water. A really good feature in the summer, and our kids really made good use of it. The views over the valleys to the coast are stunning. We really enjoyed staying here. The obvious downside is the access road. Leaving the MA4111 road, you drive 4.0km on unpaved roads to get to the villa. Some of this is steep and many places have loose rocks. There are steep drops to one side of the road and no crash barriers. You do get used to it - and take it as fast or slow as you can manage. We managed OK in a normal hatchback car, but we wish we had rented a 4x4 SUV. A trip to the shops and back is 45 minutes round trip. But equally, it means plenty of peace and quiet. Lots of the villas in this part of Spain have similar roads so this is not unusual. Then there is the dog. The house has a dog that is semi-adopted and will come up to the villa for food and water. If you like dogs that's great it was always around when we were there. Would we stay here again - yes, of course - but we would rent an appropriate 4x4 car."

"2 years ago already and now for the 2 times (2 weeks), the welcome was warm and both we and the owners (Reme Paco) were happy to see each other again. The owner speaks better English than before and we even learned some Spanish from her The house itself was even nicer and super after a trip back to relax and have complete privacy and private pool It is also an ideal base to visit the wider area such as nerja, malaga, torremolinos, benalmadena and a little further about 1,5u drive marbella and 2 hours drive from gibraltar We have taken the selwopack that is for sale and not regret (only selwo marina is at the smaller side) A day trip to gibraltar is also recommended (best parking underground garage spanish side) and thereby the marina bay you can go dolphin watching in the wild (ONRADER) take the blue boat (dolphine safari) and not the yellow boat - these are sometimes overcrowded - A car is required to get there and to get out / food store The first time the trip to the house from renault trucks (meeting point on arrival) is s pectacular but without problems Next summer we will certainly come back gr Steven Hilde Tom Liana and Demi"

"We have been there with two couples and have a fantastic vacation. The villa is beautifully situated in the mountains with a beautiful swimming pool with lighting so you also "night swimming. Furthermore, there is everything you need, plenty of towels, wifi, dishwasher, wasautmaat, dryer, combi-oven, barbeque etc. The villa was clean, but there was suddenly an invasion of ants in the villa but we were quickly resolved with an ant exterminator. During the day, you do have many problems with wasps and "evening mosquitoes. From the villa you have a beautiful view of Velez-Malaga, Torre del Mar and the sea. To get to the villa you have to be a trip of 4km. on a dirt road (in very poor condition) through the mountains to talk about. There was one day downpours (impossible but to leave the villa) making its way in places partially was gone flushed and it was quite a task to leave the villa and return partly because the road runs through the Rio Secco, a dry river where water only flows after rainfall. The villa is a must as the road to it doens't, a 4x4 or increased car is not a luxury here!"
