What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Solihull.
Mrs Smith - verified booking
" The owners were exceptionally friendly and welcoming and included some lovely extras for an enjoyable stay. It was a great base to visit the many National Trust properties in the area, together with castles, motor museums and the Shakespeare experience in Stratford. There were also many lovely walks straight from the doorstep. We stayed with our dog and found most properties allowed him in the grounds and parkland, even Shakespeare's properties. Also most pubs let dogs in too. We did go to the Malt Shovel next door for a meal and although pricey was excellent, you could not fault the meal or the service. We would definately recommend the Forge. "

"The Forge was cosy, clean & modern and allowed for 1 dog. There is a pub next door which we visited for a meal very nice meal & not too expensive, not dog friendly. There is another pub in the village that welcomed dogs so we visited for lunch whilst out walking again nice food We walked along the grand union canal at Baddesley Clinton a nice easy walk with a pub on the way to stop for refreshments which was dog friendly. We also took the dog for a run to Malvern & Brueton Park in Solihull which is a nice park with acres of land and a lake no pub. So all in all lovely break & would highly recommend the Forge."
Mr Blower - verified booking
"We wanted somewhere to stay whilst we were helping my mother celebrate her 90th birthday, the cottage was excellent with all the facilities and more catered for, the owners are lovely people and the little extras, roses, wine, milk, coffee, tea bags, bread and butter were very well received The cottage is in an ideal location to explore Warwickshire and the Cotswolds and has plenty of good shops within 10 minutes drive The Malt Shovel next door served brilliant food and drinks and was dog friendly We would recommend this cottage to anybody and will look to book again if back in the area"

"We had a lovely time at the Forge. The owners made us very welcome, giving us wine, bread, butter, milk and flowers on arrival. The cottage was very well equipped, including things we were not expecting, like toiletries, washing up liquid and many other items. It was great to be able to take our dog and she really liked the rug! The cottage was very well decorated and very clean. We enjoyed meeting up with our family and friends in the area and the owners recommended some good dog friendly pubs ..."
