"We stayed in Cae Glas for Easter, there were 4 adults and 2 dogs. Although the cottage is only 2 bedrooms, it is large, light and airy. The two living rooms have high ceilings and are spacious. The kitchen is south (ish) facing and gets the sunlight in the morning. It is also large enough for 4 adults to sit comfortably whilst a meal is being prepared. Having the log stove in the kitchen really makes the kitchen a place to linger in the evening with a glass of wine. The livingroom has great windows so you can see the sea and the great orme in the distance, when we were there the gulf course just outside was inundated with rainbows. It is a view to just kick back and watch it change as the weather does. Location wise – it is easy to get to and get out to explore North Wales. It is also in walking distance to a great little pub which did excellent pub food and an Austrian restaurant (which we did not try) I would recommend this cottage to anyone."

"Really nice well looked after cottage indeed. Clean, good sized rooms, kitchen fully kitted and log burner to keep us warm during breakfast nearby. Very family/child friendly - the attic became the games room for the kids - lots of board games, books and a DVD player. Superb view from living room and main bedroom, looking over the coast of North Wales. Well informed welcome pack and website to give us an idea of what and where to visit nearby. The property even provides a bucket and spade for the kids, a selection of tea and plenty of logs for the fire. The owners even called on arrival to make sure everything was ok. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend this cottage for couples and small families."

"We came as a family of four (parents and two adult daughters) to spend our Christmas days in Tan y Bryn and we had a very lovely time! It was exactly what we were looking for - comfortable, cosy and just the perfect place for a relaxed holiday. The landscape is beautiful, although it is useful to have a car to be able to explore the area properly. We brought most of our supplies, but the little shop in the village was also surprisingly well-stocked and the next bigger supermarket is just a few miles away. We spent our last evening in the pub just a few hundred metres down the road and had a nice dinner and lots of fun. We would definitely recommend a stay at Tan y Bryn and maybe we will even come back one day!"

"The welcome from the owner was very warming. The cottage is in an idyllic setting - views from the lounge and mezzanine bedroom are amazing. Sitting on the decking area or in the lounge with the patio doors open - is indescribable - seeing is believing. The sound of the stream flowing literally feet away, the birds singing, watching for the cattle making their way down the hillside - bliss. Having a bedroom and the bathroom on the ground floor is fantastic for those less mobile. The décor and upkeep of the cottage was excellent. Every item of cutlery and crockery possibly required was available. The holiday far exceeded our expectations plus the glorious weather was a bonus. "

"The cottage was really clean and was conveniently located for walks in the hills, lunch in the pubs and for viewing the breathtaking local scenery! The boys enjoyed a day at the nearby dry ski slope, whilst the rest of us walked the dog through the hills nearby! I really want to go back to Dwygyfylchi because the area was beautiful, and all the people we met were really friendly and welcoming. The first thing we did was go to the little shop, where we had a conversation with the shop keeper as one can only have in little shops, and he even taught us how to pronounce Dwygyfylchi! I would recommend a holiday in this picturesque Welsh scenery to anyone and everyone!"
