Mr Duckworth - verified booking
"A lovely spacious clean house that we occupied for a week which very easily became our home, lots of space to hang out and hide from each other (not that wanted to lol) - conservatory, lounge, dining room, three bedrooms and a patio with bench and table; more than enough to spread out. Views were lovely and considering it was a working farm (beef cattle) very quiet. Millie the dog was very friendly but the farm cats tried to avoid us until a little bit of ham teased them back. Both hosts lived on the farm and were very welcoming leaving some yummy gifts Overall a gentle, quiet relaxing holiday with friendly and welcoming hosts. And the local pub The White Horse at Tillbrook menu was scrumptious and catered for all types of eaters, just watch out as the web site can take you to the old one which is not a patch on the new. www.thewhitehorsetilbrook.com"

"It Did NOT. The sight manager sent you an e mail to this effect. You did not reply. I am 83 years old and because of this you spoiled my holiday. I am not because of my age as mobile as I once was and I rely on Wi Fi and my I Pad totally. We only made the booking as Wi Fi was advertised in the amenities. You were unable to provide it and it spoiled my week. Regards Maurice TempestWardens on the campsite were very friendly and helpful.the onsite staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to all the attractions that we wanted to visit all in all a great cottageVery pretty, confortable and well equiped accomodation, large enough for a familly with 4 children. Nice location in the countryside, superb for jogging around the lake. A lot of touristic attractions in the aera. Very nice and very eficient staff"

"We had a very good week at The Forge, Every thing you could want was provided. Even a bowl for the dog and a mat for it to stand on, (the bowl ), (that is ) . The owner Julia, was very welcoming. We had some meals at the pub next door "The Abbot's Elm" ' That was very nice. The weather could have been nicer, but didn't spoil our stay at the cottage or the holiday in general. Plenty to do in all weathers in that area. Nice walks for our dog, Honey from the cottage. Lovey village shop near by. A very nice quiet location. We would recommend the cottage and would like to go again some time in the future. John at The Abbot's Elm was very helpful and the staff there very friendly and efficient. They made our dog Honey very welcome and she made her self at home there both at the cottage and "The Abbot's elm"."

"Excellent location, great walks and parks to visit in surrounding area which were pet friendly. Cottage was very cosy and tranquil with everything supplied that you need including tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid etc.and the bottle of wine in the fridge when we arrived was very nice. The Abbot's Elm pub/restaurant next door had a great selection of beers and good food, well worth a visit with friendly staff. I would not hesitate in recommending the property and would like to visit again in the future."
