"We have recently returned from a week in this lovely cottage. The cottage is deceptively large, spacious and extremely clean and it's fully equipped with eveything you could need for your holiday. All the bedrooms are well sized and the furnishings are comfortable and in excellent condition. The welcome pack that greeted us on arrival was a a great touch and included fresh milk, orange juice, butter, yoghurt and black pudding. Essentials like tea and coffee we also provided so we could enjoy welcome refreshment after our journey. The garden is a good size, well maintained and enclosed so that even our houdini hound didn't manage to find any way to escape. The garden furniture was very comfortable, although we didn't get around to trying out the table tennis table or barbeque. The cottage is ideally located to give you easy access to everything in the area around Loch Lomond but far enough from the neareast road to let you forget where you are and enjoy the peace and quiet. The pubs and restaurants in Drymen are excellent and the majority are dog friendly so your canine family members can also enjoy the holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year.A&K"

"A really lovely lodge. Absolutely spotless. Could have eaten off the floor. The bedding was also lovely - however all of us struggled with the thinness of the mattresses. The shower in the main bathroom is a total nightmare as the water pressure is so strong the shower head roams around by itself. The water was absolutely everywhere on more than one occasion. The hot tub was a dream and we spent many hours in the there. But that wooden deck is a so so slippery (there are warning signs around) but we all really struggled with how slippy it was. The heating was also really difficult to manage and seemed to have a mind of its own. You are really out of the way staying here - we definitely under estimated how remote it was. There is no phone signal at all in the lodge, however there is wifi available. Kitchen had everything you could think of and more. Overall we were very happy with our holiday and would recommend to others."

"We had a fantastic week at Kilmanorock Cottage, we stayed towards the end of June with our Labrador. The cottage is set in a stunning countryside location down a really long private drive with fields all around. There are Highland cows and horses in the fields around the garden which is really nice. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and really well equipped, the owners have thought of everything you may need for your stay. It is brilliant for dogs too, a large fully enclosed garden and loads of space inside. It is a short drive from the shores of Loch Lomond, everyday we went somewhere different around the Loch, there are some lovely places to visit, again great if you have a dog who loves swimming. Not far from the village of Drymen which has some really good pubs and a couple of shops. We stay in holiday cottages fairly often and this is one of the best! Definitely recommend and would love to visit again!"

"Our holiday party consisted of four adults and one five week old baby. We were pleasantly surprised by the property, we all feel that the photographs do not do it the justice it deserves. It was comfortable and well equipped. The only equipment I would add would be a clothes airer for drying clothes indoors on wet days. Unfortunately the water filter was not working during our stay which made interesting work of feeding and bathing the baby but it did not spoil the holiday for us. The location is really peaceful but close enough to be able to reach a supermarket and a take away! Touring the area was fun. We usually visit the area twice a year to go walking but one of our party had just had a quite major surgery and this ruled out walking. We still found entertainment in the area every day to keep us happy. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family."

"Booked this for me, my husband, my daughter, her husband and the 2 grandkids aged 3 & 7, with our dog Jilly. We did not get the full family together, as my daughter had a dog too and only one pet is allowed, so my daughter joined us for 3 of the 7 days, with my grandkids - her husband stayed at home with dog. But we did enjoy our time together as a family - albeit my son in law missed out. The grandkids loved the place, the open doors, we had a wee stream behind the lodge. The donkeys to feed etc. Even in winter time it was good to explore, chaperoned off course. All in all we had a great time and would go here again. The peace and quiet was great. The hot tube was a bonus and we sure used that every day, even in the minus weather."
