"We couldn't quite believe our luck when we first saw the cottage! It is absolutely gorgeous. We brought our two cocker spaniels and it is ideal for dogs, with fully enclosed outside space and even a dog bowl and towel provided. The farmland views from the picture window in the lounge a super. The location is ideal for exploring Anglesey, with it's beautiful beaches and pretty countryside. The cottage is about 3 miles from the nearest village (shop and chippy) and 8 from a town with Asda, Aldi and Lidl stores. Because the nearest shop is driving distance we have scored 9/10 for local amenities, but it is a good thing for us as we love rural isolation. Everything we needed was provided, and there was even a thoughtful welcome basket with some goodies. The only detractor we found was that the beds were quite uncomfortable - however, another visitor remarked in the guest book that they found the bed very comfortable, so it may just be us! This is the reason for the 9/10 for 'comfort and equipment'. We didn't meet the owner, but spoke to her on the 'phone, and she was very pleasant and helpful. The neighbour is a lovely man, and full of a wealth of information about the island. We were booked to stay a week, but left a day early as the weather was dreadful and we wanted to get home to our own bed! I highly recommend this cottage, especially if you have dogs. Anglesey is a stunning island, and the numerous dog-friendly sandy beaches stunningly beautiful."

"Overall the cottage was good it was clean and generally well presented in reasonably easy to access location with pleasant grounds to the rear. An initial glitch with the property was quickly resolved by the owner without fuss. The living area is very comfortable and the provision of a second room with a games console was certainly a useful on days where we stayed in. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped and easy to cook in but could benefit from a cafetiere and slow cooker as provided in some other properties.Given the relatively high rate of the property, it could benefit from the provision of additional consumables for recycling etc and clear time tables for collection as found in other properties.Overall the property was very pleasant and I would certainly consider staying here again on my next visit to Anglesey."

"We had a lovely holiday at Rhoslan. The cottage is in such a beautiful setting and was well equipped, clean and had everything we could have needed for our young family. There were plenty of indoor and outdoor toys which were well used but the main attraction for the kids was of course the lovely Meg. Eric and Val are such nice people, very friendly and helpful with pointing out the local attractions and best routes to take. It was our first proper visit to Anglesey and we found it beautiful, unspoiled and fairly quiet given it was the first week of the summer holidays. And what gorgeous beaches. House, hosts and location a real gem."

"We had a very relaxing stay at Rhoslan. We were very welcome by Eric and Val and we had an even more enthusiastic greeting from Meg, their new adorable 4 month old sheepdog! If you're a bird lover you'll appreciate the swallows sitting on the wires right outside the cottage and you can watch them sweeping the open fields for flies (we were there mid June). For more birds, South Stack and Cemlyn bay are not far to reach. Overall we appreciated the quietness of the cottage environment and neither the cows nor the dog made any disturbing noises. Well worth another visit!"
