"<span style="font-family: Tahoma, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">First impression when arriving at farm is a bit 'rustic'. typical dairy farm yard, buildings and smells. The property was great and the owners very nice.<br /> <br /> Great if staying with children as a viewing gallery to watch the cows being milked. Lovely walks in area.<br /> <br /> Take a torch and a reflective jacket if walking dogs in the evening or dark. Beautiful area. Lots of places to walk. Visit Lake Bala and Vrwyny later in the day or not at weekends, it is very busy then, but well worth going on another day. Newtown is a nice market town, as is Welshpool. Llandiloes is quaint and there is The Minivera Arts Centre hosting quilts which is fastinating. Lovely food at The Cross Keys, about 5 miles north on the A495. A bit of a wait for the food as it is all cooked to order, well well worth the wait.</span><br /> <br /> "

"This beautiful cottage, in the Brecon Beacons, was the best we have ever stayed in. Everything in it looks brand new and top quality. Perfect for a couple, everything you need for a wonderful self-catering holiday is provided. Very well stocked modern kitchen. Bathroom with walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries. The double bed is very comfortable and cosy. The living-room has a gorgeous electric recliner sofa, free-sat tv and wifi. There are plenty of maps and booklets of places to visit provided. The views are fantastic. The owners are a lovely friendly couple who made us feel very welcome and surprised us with home-made scones, jam, clotted cream, butter, welsh cakes and milk on arrival, and then shared their home-grown tomatoes with us. We have already recommended the cottage to friends and family and we are looking forward to staying here again."

"Wonderful location, excellent place for walks, and great base for discovering surrounding region. Lovely weather for majority of fortnight while here. Cottage is very comfortable to return to in evenings and relax. Dog-friendly and well set up for our two dogs to stay. Owners, Lawrie & Sally, are very friendly and helpful, and readily available if needed, without imposing in any way. Their welcoming bottle of wine, flowers and food provisions were much appreciated, and their well thought-out information booklet was most useful. We can't think of anything which would have made our stay any better, and highly recommend the Stables for a great break of any length."

"This is an excellent cottage. A very warm friendly welcome greeted us when we arrived. The cottage is situated perfectly for the many activities in the Brecon Beacon National Park such as the four waterfall trail and Pen y Fan. The views and local walks are excellent. Plenty of birds such as Red Kites, Buzzards, blue Tits, Swallows to name a few. The cottage is spacious and well equipped including a boot room which is excellent for walking boots and wet macs! and ample parking. Easy accessible from the main road."

"The cottage was wonderful. The views from the cottage were stunning. Mr & Mrs Powell were lovely and the welcome pack of home made Welsh cakes and tea, were greatly received. The accommodation was very well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable. We left some items at the cottage and Mr & Mrs Powell had no problems forwarding them to us. We travelled to Snowdonia, Wrexham and the Aberystwyth and the cottage was ideally situated for all locations. We would definitely return. "
