"We have just returned from a break at Goscar Court. I would agree with some of the other reviews on this property. The location cannot be faulted with gorgeous views of the harbour and North Beach and within a few yards walk of pubs and restaurants. The standard of cleanliness in the property, however, is awful. There was lots of dust behind the furniture (I sneezed all week), the cushions and settee / chair coverings are stained and dirty and it had a musty unclean smell all week. We wanted to use the single beds (the double bed is the smallest double I have ever seen) but it was impossible to lie on them without the slats falling through. We had to pull the mattress into the lounge every night in order to sleep comfortably! The shower didn't drain so you were paddling about in water for the duration and the blind in the second bedroom was broken. My advice would be to avoid unless you're absolutely not bothered about the standard of accommodation and just want the view and location. For what you pay for this apartment (not cheap) I expected cleanliness and a bed that could be slept in as a minimum! Disappointed. "

"We did have some issues regarding being unable to lock bathroom / toilet doors and some light bulbs needed replacing. The owner was away, but passed on our concerns to the daughter, and these problems were resolved just before we left. We also brought to the owner that the washing line needed replacing as we had no where to hang our washing ie swimwear / towels, and they listened to our concerns, but unfortunately it was too late for us, but hopefully the next person will benefit from a new line. Whilst the house was generally clean ie bath / toilet were clean, there was a lot of dust and cobwebs around the back of beds, etc and so we gave it a lower cleaniless rating. There were only one towel rails and no clothes drier to hang wet towels. Lastly there were some missing utensils from the kitchen such as no serving spoon or slotted spoon, so we had to dish up food like rice with a desert spoon ! Very messy !! The cottage was very pleasant and welcoming, but it was very frustrating to discover things like this missing when cooking meals !"

"Reasonably comfortable for my dog and myself, but definitely not 4 star.I left a list of improvements needed to bathroom and kitchen in the guest book.Others and some of those listed include:It would be very tight to fit 4 people to eat at the dining table in the kitchen. There wasn't any cups and saucers, there was ill matched, poor quality cutlery and very poor lighting. The linen provided was spotless, but a shower mat was needed. The shower cubicle base sealant is discoloured and needs replacing, as is the sealant around the bathroom window. I agree the bungalow could smell sweeter, the carpets would possibly benefit from a shampoo.Obviously originally very well fitted out, but the bungalow has become a bit tired over the years it has been rented out.The cookies were lovely, but can hardly be called a welcome pack in comparison with what is now normally provided in other rentals.A lovely very quiet location, but I wouldn't recommend this as a 4 star property in it's current state."

"This is very well located for Tenby town and beaches. It is also central to other local attractions. The kitchen is extensively well equipped the only thing I found missing was a blender for smoothies. There is one shower, one toilet, one bath with sink and each bedroom has a sink. With a family of 6 I think a 2nd toilet would have been beneficial but it was nice to be able to have a bath. The towels were a little faded but there was no stipulation about taking them to the beach which many places refrain you from doing. Some areas of the cottage were a bit tired but it fitted well for us. I wasn’t feeling left worried that the children would dirty or mark something. There were games for us to play and a puppet box.Shampoo and bath gel, & Hairdryer.First aid kit and torch too2 pubs less than 5 minuets walk, the star inn and parsonage farm, the latter was my preference but both were good.I would definitely return as so much I didn’t get around to seeing/doing."

"The property was very nice on the whole but not suitable for small children. The cottage is right on a main road and the traffic noise is loud into the night. The bunk beds were right next to a sharp wall so we had to move them to the other side of the room. The stone floor in the dining area is not suitable for babies or toddlers. There are stones outside in the garden area which again are not good for children to run around on. However, there was a gate that was secure so children cannot get out onto the road. They did provide a stair gate and high chair but not a cot as stated. The property was not particularly clean and the hoover provided did not work very well at all. It was obvious that it was a pet friendly cottage. There were plenty of clean towels and the beds were clean and comfortable."
