"Me, my husband and 6 yr. old grandson booked a week at the Potters Wheel for the May school holidays The accommodation is on the middle floor of the building and it was absolutely beautiful It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, we loved the décor and the fact that our grandson had his own toilet and shower The kitchen was well set out and whatever you could would want in a kitchen was there. There were instruction / information books about the property i.e. using the heating etc. / local places to eat / places to visit It is situated right across from the beach and our grandson loved it. We did have a problem with the boiler but the owners were brilliantly helpful and a new boiler has now been fitted Couple of points to be mentioned - You access the front door down the sider of the property then up a flight of steep steps , so I would not recommend this property if you have mobility issues and / or chest / breathing problems Although the owners provide a parking permit, there is no allocated parking in the car park and no parking attendant that we saw. The car park gets full very early due to the beach, however you will most likely get a space further towards the harbour and it starts to empty out around 17:30 To anyone who does not like dogs (We do) be aware that Saundersfoot is very dog friendly and there are a lot of dogs around, sometimes people have as many as 3-5 walking which can cause a bit of hargie barge with other dogs / pedestrians Having said that we loved our stay, our grandson cried as he didn't want to come home. Would I stay again - Yes Would I recommend - Yes"

"This is an excellent old cottage located just a few minutes from sea at Wickham. I think it has recently been refurbished and so provides a good standard of accommodation suitable for a family. Its situated at the top of Wickham Hill and has plenty of off road parking space. The cottage is very clean with comfortable beds. The kitchen is kitted out well and we were well able to cook several evening meals. There is a full size oven and plenty of saucepans, pots etc but we always take our electric steamer with us.to use which helps The dinning room and lounge are of a good size and allow the family to spread out. Being old and having very thick walls the inside of the cottage remains cool in the summer and possibly warm in winter time. There is a Tesco Express located at the bottom of the hill (open I think from 7am to 11pm) but this has limited options. We took any favorite foods with us to put in fridge or freezer which helped out The garden is rough grass and probably difficult to play football on but it is safe for children. Don't expect too much from the wifi. (2 to 5 Mbps) Ivy House, however, is in my opinion good value for your money There are a few negatives which you may need to take into consideration. The accommodation is located at the top of the hill and a very long and hard walk back from the pub or the beach area. There is only one loo which is in the bathroom situated mid level between the bedrooms and the ground floor. The stairs are very uneven and may not be suitable for older persons or anyone with some form of disability. John Roseblade"

"Good points. Beautiful cottage with very comfortable beds and nicely decorated. Lots of storage for clothes and the washing machine came in very handy! Perfect place to relax especially with the hot tub which we used a lot and was cleaned every morning. Private from the holiday park, tucked away and surrounded by a lovely garden with trees/plants which kept it enclosed. Drive way right up to the cottage so you know your car is safe. Lovely welcome basket was waiting for us on arrival which we appreciated and thought it was a lovely touch. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk was also provided which was great.Things that let it down. The hob was difficult to use even with instructions, WiFi signal was poor and daily free allowance provided by the holiday park next close by didn’t last five minutes. No shop on the site either. Distance from nearby beaches meant a drive out each time. I stayed with my mum and two children aged 10 and 5 so we needed to go out everyday to keep them occupied. Distance to the bins on-site was too far which meant driving with the rubbish in the boot as the bin outside was not emptied for us.We loved the cottage but personally I think for us we need somewhere closer to the beach. The daily drives were draining by the end of the holiday. Perfect for a couple wanting to get away, relax and forget the world for a while."

"Habitabities is a lovely house on the outskirts of Tenby - you will need a car. There is a bus service that goes past the property but it's difficult to work out where exactly you wait for it. Every room has king size or super king size beds with loads of pillows and cushions and all rooms apart from one have an ensuite shower or bathroom. One bedroom is on the ground floor which is useful for people with mobility problems. The window in this room cannot be opened so the owners have thoughtfully supplied a Dyson blade fan to ensure adequate air flow, although I should add that the room is at the back of the house so does not seem to get too much sun and there is an ensuite with a window that opens. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, mugs, glasses, plates etc a freezer and a washer dryer and there are two toasters and two kettles for large groups. The owner has pretty much thought of everything. The house was beautifully clean, had Freeview television, a case of books including local guides and plenty of space for storing luggage, beach items etc. I would highly recommend it to large families or groups."

"Lovely location and great sea views from most of the rooms. Modern apartment that relatively well stocked. Unfortunately the cleanliness let it down as there was thick dust/sand and previous guests items under beds, sofa and in drawers which clearly had been building up for some time. As we have very young children who send a lot of time playing on the floor we had to hoover the apartment through on the first evening. We also had some effort to locate and set up the stair gate, cot and high chair which we prebooked and I contacted the booking department a second time 2 days before travelling. None of these items were in the apartment and we required calling the owner and then contacting the building manager to set up the Gaye twice. After travelling for 5 hours from London would have been good not have to deal with these issues. Otherwise we had a wonderful holiday and these issues are easy to resolve."
