Mrs Agnes Wilkins - verified booking
"Ruby cottage was everything we were hoping for. We were very impressed with the quality of the furnishing/equipment at this property, if you needed anything it was there. The seaside theme of the cottage suited it’s location perfectly. Outside was a little tired but adequate and private. Ruby cottage was everything we were hoping for. We were very impressed with the quality of the furnishing/equipment at this property, if you needed anything it was there. The seaside theme of the cottage suited it’s location perfectly. There was as described, a sea view which you could see between the gaps of the properties in front of the cottage. However do not let this put you off hiring as you are able to access the beach easily and quickly. This cottage was a minutes walk away into Saundersfoot and a lovely walk in the opposite direction to Wisemans Bridge and beyond. Powell’s were very helpfull when booking this property."

"Fabulous holiday. We had a lovely stay at the property, we really did enjoy our stay and we are looking forward to visiting the property again in July. We have been holidaying in Pembrokshire for the last 5 years and more specifically Saundersfoot. We love the area, the atmosphere, the choice of pubs/cafes and the beaches and walks. The quality of food is amazing in all the places we eat at, in particular, the Salvage Bar, The Old Chemist, and Coast. We also got an Indian delivery one evening from Pentelpoir which was very tasty. We love Pembrokshire and will continue to holiday there until we can make the place our retirement home. "

"Thanks again Walwyns Castle Community for the beautiful cottage. We have had a wonderful stay and blessed with 7 days of fabulous weather. The summer duvets were very necessary - thank you! Spent most of the week on our favourite beaches, building sandcastles and body boarding, what we call a perfect Pembrokeshire day! Tried new places to eat this year - The Castle in Little Haven (booking necessary), The Milton Brewery do an amazing Sunday lunch and if you're stuck and nowhere is available try The Jolly Sailor, you may have to sit in the back garden but the view is amazing and food really good. We'll be back again."

"A cosy and comfortable cottage ,well equipped and spacious, nicely decorated. Lovely tranquil setting with stunning views. Good base to travel to the larger towns and villages of pembrokeshire. Hosts in contact several days before arrival and throughout stay to check we were ok and easy to contact if needed anything. The area of Wales has so much to do and the cottage is in an ideal location for walking, to be honest we just relaxed at evening times after a day of driving and travelling and the view from the balcony of the preseli hills made our holiday! We wanted a quiet rural setting and Y Teras was perfect!"

"We had a lovely time. The kids made use of the WiFi and we walked up to the top of the hill that you can see from the rear window - it was spectacular. The location is central to the far West peninsular and we drove to coasts and castles all over the place. The cottage is very well appointed and we loved the wood burner in the living room. The parking directly outside the front door, with tight turning, is the only criticism I could make about the whole cottage; but there are alternatives (mentioned in the pre-arrival email) and it wouldn't put me off a return visit. We absolutely loved the place."
