"Having scoured the internet to find somewhere to cater for a party of 8 my partner found this place, it ticked all the boxes and was reasonably priced too only costing £624 for a week but £35 of that was a booking fee which we were charged (might be an idea to book direct with the owner) . The kitchen is a good size with a large dining table, its fully loadd with dish washer , washing macine you name it its got it, the front room has 3 sofas which are a little dated along with the TV but this doesn't detract from how nice the place is. larger conservatory which gets lovely and warm in the daytime and opens up onto the garden which is also a good size and has views of fields. There are hens on site which you can get fresh eggs from for a nominal charge of £1 for six, the kids loved getting the eggs in the morning for breakfast, next door the owners have some cattle, mainly sheep and cows but if you ask them you can go onto the yard when they are there and see them. The bedrooms are of a good size with one having en suite , there are 3 toilets including the en suite so fighting for the bathroom wasn't an issue . Ample parking at the property and a well kept cottage."

"This is spacious and well appointed accommodation in a rural setting. Don't be put off by a "Street View" image of what appears to be a small scrapyard at the entrance to the property. This is only a hard working local garage on an adjoining site which caused us no problems. Try not to arrive for the first time in the dark. Access is along a network of narrow lanes which have their own charm, but could cause navigation problems. The accommodation is well equipped and spotlessly clean - a credit to its owners. For dining you have the option of a large dining table in the spacious kitchen, an alternative in a conservatory or outdoor dining at a table in a raised garden area. We were there on a blazing hot week when all doors were kept open, but the owners two collie dogs were amazingly well behaved. Never once did they attempt to enter the house and were lovely with our 11-month-old grandson. The property is a credit to its owners and we would have no hesitation in returning."

"On arrival we noticed a fusty damp smell all around the cottage, but it was really strong in the third bed room, on investigation there was mould behind the bed, the room was not usable and when the grand parents came to visit they had to book into a hotel. On the roof the owner had put some plastic and pallets to fix a leak. The beds were really uncomfortable and the owner had put two thin quilts in each cover so they kept bunching up inside the cover, there for every other day I was redoing the beds. Also the storage heaters had been turned off at the master switch so we had no heating for the first two nights (when we rang the owner he did tell us that he had turned it off and had meant to turn it back on but had forgotten, he did however have two heater brought round so as we were not cold for another night. It was a lovely cottage and location. The owner was very nice, it was a shame that we have had to give a negative review."

"The property is conveniently Located for beaches, castles, churches, walkers. The property was clean on arrival and well equipped in all rooms, although was advertised to have 2 did players and there was only 1, but as the weather was so fantastic the whole week luckily we didn't need 2. The conservatory was lovely and comfortable with fabulous views over the local country side. We had plenty of room inside and out but the first 2 days were upset by the owners 2 dogs that were allowed to roam freely in the property garden. We had to clean up the dog mess ourselves and 1 of the dogs nipped my son on the leg, needless to say we contacted the owners who did come and collect the dogs within a few hours. After that we had a fabulous time and if we could be guaranteed there would be no dogs we would visit again."

"We have stayed in numerous houses/cottages over the years, and this was by far was the best we have ever stayed in. When we arrived we were blown away by how lovely the house was. It was exceptionally clean and had all the space (and more) we could possibly need. The wood pile was VERY welcome as it was quite a cold week. The gardens were amazing for the children and they absolutely adored collecting eggs and going to see the chickens. All beds were comfy, showers worked well and the heating was just about right (especially the amazing wood burner). Then to top it all, the things left for children to play with made our week just the best. The location is ideal, remote but close enough to lots of places to visit and shops not far away. There was very little more we could ask for."
