"..to snuggle down in the warmest toastiest home, hand on heart, i have ever experienced! The water was piping hot and the seating area window clear and expansive to watch the sky and weather in all her forms...It was like being in and with the weather in the most ideal and comfortable clothing weather proofs with the bonus of the kettle and food books company etc to hand....the sky and stars at night are a spectacular wonder as too the air quality and aroma and something to note on the nose and breath in lung fulls...just so beautiful clean and pure. The equivalent of spring bottled water but in air form. Maybe because we are city dwellers the exceptional quality was needed and appreciated for that alone. It was the first thing i noticed on parking and opening the car door..it rushed in like a family member for a welcoming hug! As if to say just Breath and relax now.. We explored in all weathers and seemed to time all our jaunts "just right"..the rain magically stopped for our cliff walks and strides along the beach, the sun shone through enormous billowing clouds at one point the sky opened a window to allow the sun to pour a splayed fan of sun rays onto the seas surface and bounced off the windswept grass into flexible filaments of shiny sea green glass. After the enlivening seashore sensation and stampeding white horses on the crest of the waves....stiller waters... were discovered on a driving foray more inland...out of curiosity we stopped at a little church Dogswell just past Sealyham and then carried on to see a metal farmers gate and pedestrian side gate to that.. and stopped there....it was a woodland walk with pic nic tables about a large reservoir and a great view of tree canopy tops just turning colour....we simply had a blast and breath of much needed air and space to relax in...and found Sea Heavens location just the time and place to find this in. Thank you Bernadette and to all the elements there abide within and abide about....whatever the weather! Enjoy! :)"

" What and amazing half term week we have had exploring this area, having never visited before we were delighted at every turn to see amazing unspoilt beaches, beautiful cliff top walks, ambles round great villages, plenty of yummy meals in country pubs and coffee/cake stops in many a lovely cafe -as a bonus we were blessed with the best of the weather. We travelled as a family of five plus Betty the doggie, Blacksmiths Cottage was everything we needed and more- located in a great spot for exploring the area, equipped with everything you could ever possibly need and more! Wonderfully comfy beds, fresh linens, homely touches and a log burner set up to go! We loved the generous gift of Welsh cakes and Prosecco too. The kids enjoyed many a time in the hot tub and the dog loved the garden snaffling in the Autumn leaves. We had a Tesco’s on line delivery on our first day and enjoyed a mix of meals in and out. Highlights of our holiday are too many to mention- Barrafundle, Whitesands, Nolton Haven, Broadhaven all exquisite beaches, Tenby for retail, arcade and iceceams! St David’s cathedral, pumpkins at the BugFarm, escaping the Escape Room, trampolining at Hangar 5 and Frizbee Golf! The list is endless and there is still more we would come back to see and do. We had great meals at the Cambrian, Castle and St Bride’s in Little Haven, Mamgu in Solva does the best Welsh cakes and Rarebit lunches. Book this fab place and you will be thrilled with your decision. We are just sad our week is over x x x thank you "

"We were fortunate to spend a week leading up to New Year’s Eve at this delightful cottage. The owners have gone to so much effort to make it feel welcoming, cosy and extremely comfortable. They have tried to think of every eventuality for their guests and this shows in all the added extras that you wouldn’t usually find in just a holiday home. It is so well equipped with everything, and more, that you could possibly need. They have made holiday life as easy as possible by providing more than enough of kitchen ware, along with a full size dishwasher for ease. The themed bedrooms with local photos too are a thoughtful addition. Lots of pretty touches too to make it feel special. The log burner is so cosy after a stroll in the winter sun and the nearby areas are just incredible to explore. Even in the cold, the landscaping is breathtaking. I gather there is now a hot tub, outdoor seating and BBQ area and these will be the perfect addition to such a wonderful cottage. The owners have spent a lot of time, and money, on the property and I know the garden area was next on their list to tidy up. I am very much looking forward to going back this next winter and I can’t wait to sit in the hot tub looking at the stars! If you are looking at going as a couple or a larger group with children then I completely recommend Blacksmiths Cottage."

"We stayed at this fantastic cottage for a week in June of this year and we had a really great time! The cottage itself is stunning and all the rooms are beautifully decorated and extremely well presented. The open plan of the lounge and the kitchen is very nice and the kitchen is very well equipped. The large garden is also very nice and the hot tub was great! This is a beautiful area and it is very quiet at the cottage - perfect place to chill and relax and enjoy proper darkness at night. You will need your car but we got out and about a lot and went all along the stunning coast from Whitesands Bay in the North down through Broad Haven and Little Haven and further South to Marloes, Stackpole and Tenby. There are stunning beaches everywhere along the coasts and lots of National Trust places too so don't forget your cards! We found lots of lovely pubs and restaurants on our travels and nearly all were dog friendly, as are the majority of the beaches. We'd never been to this area before and it really does have some stunning and dramatic beaches and miles of walking if that's your thing. Already hoping to go back again next year!"

"We had a wonderful week at Blacksmiths cottage with our 1 year old. The cottage was clean, nicely decorated and had lots of lovely small touches like baby equipment, games and garden equipment which came in handy and made our stay easier. Having a mobile 1 year old meant we had to move lots of nice decorative bit outs the way and was always on watch when she roamed. I think less decoration would be more practical if you have children and dogs. I agree that the garden needs some attention to make using the hot tub more enjoyable but it was nice nether the less to relax in after a day exploring. On the point about the TV just log in to your Netflix and your good to go! The cottage is in a great location to explore Pembrokeshire and we had some fab days. If only you could guarantee the weather we had in June, all year! Close to a large supermarket and the fish and chips from the local "service station" were surprisingly good. All in all a great week in a great place. Booked for next year! Can't wait to relax and see more of Pembrokeshire from this wonderful cottage."
