"Lovely site, grounds and surroundings but unhelpfull / unprofessional and rude staff who are in desperate need of management. Example: ordered 2 child meals in the main venue one evening to be refused the use of a knife to cut my 16 month olds food up (cutlery not allowed in the venue) - five minutes of debate with the bar staff eventually resulted in me asking for a manager who then, after continued debate provided a knife for me to use at the counter to cut the food. Reception staff were not massively welcoming and pool attendants simply ignored guests and socialised with their colleagues. The groundsman was the only remotly professional member if staff we encountered and was a joy to speak to."

"We had a great time and mainly stayed onsite and used the indoor pool and did the nature trail walk too. Nice to arrive to milk in the fridge and tea/coffee etc. Would be great to see fairtrade and environmentally friendly products used instead though eg washing up liquid. The lodge was nice but showing signs of getting old with bath getting black mould. Only annoyance was that the boiler would start up at 5.30am and be noisy for half an hour but then stop. Great location with deck not overlooked by other lodges."

"Gorgeous stay in an incredibly beautiful and comfy cottage. Couldn’t have had a more wonderful stay for our first holiday with our 4 month old daughter. Everything was provided for our comfort. Incredibly picturesque. Special thanks to Iain was very patient with my anxious new mummy questions before arrival. Have to note that there are a few steps up to the front door so we had to carry luggage and baby up those but wasn’t particularly an issue for us but should be noted for those with mobility issues."

"This is a charming cottage - cosy, warm, comfortable and full of character. It's ideally located by the picturesque Quay in Lymington, close to all the shops, pubs, restaurants and museum, with a coastal walk on the doorstep. It's clean, beautifully decorated and well equipped and, for an old cottage, deceptively spacious inside. We had a very happy half term break here with our teenage son and wouldn't hesitate to book again."

"Overall we had a lovely time. We just had a small issues such as missing towels and missing baby cot that we have booked. As we arrived a bit late and reception was closed our issues were resolved very quickly on the next morning. Also the lodge was not cleaned very well and we did not have a hot water for a bit one evening but apart from all these we really had a peaceful and pleasant time. The hot tub was lovely."
