"What a great cottage to stay in, everything was spot on, the cottage was bigger than we had expected, very large kitchen dinner, with every thing that we needed, The living room was nice in the evening to sit down and relax in. The cottage was very clean and well maintained the bedrooms were both a good size, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of wardrobe space too. The bathroom was small, but it was well layed out, the shower was very good, nice and powerful. The gardens were well maintained, lovely and secure for our yorkie Jack. The owners were keen to let us know right from the moment we arrived that we had full freedom to enjoy the farm and all the animals, My wife loved the ducks and chickens, where as, Jack and I enjoyed feeding the pigs, ( I think our jack thought they were just big dogs lol) Ian the onsite handy man was available when the owners were out if we needed anything The local shop was only 5 mins down the lane and has a good range of produce too. the cottage is well locacated for Dartmoor and Exmoor and Overall we would definatley recommend this cottage,"

"We enjoyed our week staying at The Old Mill, Shillingford. The cottage was comfortable and cosy with all you need for a break away. The owners were welcoming and helpful and the cottage was well furnished. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space in both a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The second bedroom is also of a good size with single beds. Bampton is the nearest town, about a ten minute drive away with a butchers, greengrocers and bakery plus a small supermarket for immediate needs. It also boasts several pubs and eateries. There are many interesting places to see locally and the north coast is just half an hour's drive away over Exmoor. A lovely place to stay in this beautiful part of the country."

"The old mill is a lovely little cottage which is maintained and kept spotless. It had every thing we needed to make our break comfortable and relaxing. The cottage is just off the main road which caused a little road noise but this didn't disturb us, but this meant that it was easy to get to and from other locations in Devon and Somerset. The only point I would say is that the cottage advertised as dog friendly (which we prefer) but we wouldn't be able to take our dog as the garden is shared with lots of poultry and the owners dogs which would mean we wouldnt be able to let our dog in the garden as he would just cause mayhem. But we would have no hesitation in booking this cottage again if it's just us."

"This is the second jaunt to Bow to stay in this cottage, I and my travelling pal adore the place. We like to be self sufficient and this suits our needs perfectly. The owner is a very nice lady and although we do not always see each other I know she is at hand if I need her. You always feel safe as the cottage is situated right in the middle of the farm next to the farm house. I cannot fault it, it is a real gem and would recommend it to all my friends and family. The cottage has a great kitchen with all mod cons, a lovely shower upstairs, comfy beds, satellite TV and a wood burning fire - basically home from home - in fact its better! Looking to come down in May again with my Mum."

"This is a superb Cottage fully equipped with everything you need. It has set high standards for any other place we stay in the future. The Cottage itself has a fantastic layout with a conservatory dining area so with us having young children we didn't keep them awake at night by gathering in here. The gardens are beautiful with spectacular views. There is a super BBQ, garden toys & a washing line. We also made use of the washer/dryer. Laundering products were also provided along with complimentary bathroom items. The whole place was immaculately clean throughout."
