What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Maenclochog.
Ms Carrie Nicholls, Bridgend, Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr - verified booking
"The cabin is in lovely position on the site with wonderful views of the surrounding area and is of a good size for a family of four. The rooms were big enough and there was plenty of storage both in the rooms for luggage and cupboards for shoes and coats near the front door. The sun deck is a good size too. The cabin was cosy and is in very good condition which made it a very pleasant stay. The owner had left us a personal welcome note with some useful information. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this place again if we were going to holiday in the area."

"The directions to the property could do with being updated, we tried to follow them but got lost and it states to turn towards Clydfan chapel, the signpost with the chapel name was not Clydfan as in welsh. It stated it had a rough track to the cottage. That was an understatement, with there being a steep hump at the top, which caused our car to get stuck (we have just a normal estate car) and scrap along the concrete/gravel.Otherwise it was a very quiet, rural location, perfect if you want to get away from it all."

"Ideal cottage retreat if you enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. The cottage is down an unmade road and so a 4x4 vehicle is preferable for access. The cottage is well equipped, cosy and comfortable with a log burner for those cooler evenings. The nearest shop/garage etc is in Crymych which is 4 miles away. You will need to travel some distance to eat out in a pub/restaurant - some are only open Wed through to Saturday and most only do Sunday lunch. We loved it!"

"A superbly equipped lodge in a fabulous position and very convenient to get to lots of different places. Superb hot showers to ease away the aches and pains after a day's walk. Unfortunately the whole impression was let down by a very flimsy and excedingly uncomfortable mattress on the bed. A real shame that such a first class property is spoiled by a second rate mattress which, to our mind, is one of the most important ingredients of a good holiday."

"It was close to the coast for walking and the Heritage Park was nicely laid out without the lodges being too close together. We had a lovely view of the river. We only used the car for food shopping which was easy to find at Pembroke dock, and either walked or took the hailed country bus service. It was nice having a washing machine and a line to hang it out, great not to have loads of washing to go home to! Very peaceful, our batteries are recharged!"
