"This is a lovely cottage with stunning countryside views from the lounge and kitchen window. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. My only negative would be that the mattresses need changing on the beds. Its nicely decorated with plenty of room. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the ground floor with a open plan kitchen, dining table and lounge on the first floor. A bottle of wine, chocolates, welsh cakes and a bara brith cake greeted us upon arrival. In the area there is a Tesco extra which is about a 5 to 10 minute drive away. Also Harveys an American restaurant is next to Tesco and Mc Donalds close by. Would definitely recommend Zip World, Portmeirion and the steam train ride from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog. There is so much to do in North Wales with unspolit countryside and stunning waterfalls. We had a lovely time and would love to return one day."

"WoW! what an amazing venue and location! We booked The Ridge for a special family event and it did not disappoint. It was above expectations and they were already high from viewing the brochures and google maps! The house is immense and beautifully furnished and appointed with solid and stylish furniture. The rooms are huge and comfortable. The house was spotless clean and uncluttered. All of that pales into insignificance when you see the views! Every room looks over the sea on on to Snowdonia National Park. Huge windows and a number of patios and balconies and the jetty all allowed us to feel we were at one with the scenery - boats bobbing by, the tide coming in and out, the weather rolling in and out. Magnificent! lovely pub to walk to either on the road or the beach ( time it right!). local shops and towns a short drive away. Super beaches a short drive away."

"This was a comfortable house to stay in but we found the mattresses uncomfortable and the lighting throughout inadequate. My son's room had no bedside table or bedside light. The fridge was only partly equipped with no shelving on the door so we had to take trays out to put bottles in. There was no welcome pack so we had to call up for the wifi code. On the second day the wifi stopped working altogether. The bedrooms could use a chair to put clothes on, and the kitchen could do with some wooden spoons as we cooked in. Most importantly, the directions given to get to the cottage weren't specific enough. There is no name on the property at all, and we arrived at night. The contact was nice enough to come out and guide us in! Nice house, just a few points to work on."

"A thoroughly enjoyable two weeks here. Such a lovely, cosy cottage with great views that made even waking up a pleasure! As we had hoped, this was the perfect base from which to explore mountains, lakes, beaches, castles and the stunning scenery of Snowdonia & the Lleyn Peninsula. Highlights: St Baglan's Chapel, the Air World Museum, Porth Dafarch (Holyhead), Puffin Island boat ride, Greenwood Park, climbing Moel Eilio, the Ty Mawr tea room and Whistling Sands on the Lleyn. Great to get in the sea at Dinas Dinlle with the waves rolling in. Also found the location of boyhood holidays at Dyffryn Ardudwy (near Harlech) and the great beach there. Thank you so much for providing such a well-equipped home-from-home."

"What an amazing cottage! We stayed with our 2 boys (3 & 7), both mine and my husbands parents plus a dog! So a full house yet we all had our own space and relaxed. The weather was great which helped but I imagine the views are spectacular regardless. Admittedly the parking is on the busy main road but we managed and it was worth it. I was a little nervous on parking but once we opened the gate and saw the view i totally relaxed. The cottage was very clean (and I am quite particular) with good facilities. We know Anglesey so we were happy pottering around our favourite haunts but in 5 years of going this was our best cottage yet. We all came home relaxed which for me speaks volumes."
