"This cottage was amazing. I'm not very good at doing reviews I think this is actually my first one and we have stayed in a few different cottages and lodges but this one really deserves it! We arrive after our 3 hour drive and greeted by the owner who is lovely. We had our 5 month old puppy who was greeted by his 4 great friendly dogs. We was shown to our cottage and had everything explained from the beautiful sharing outdoor heated seating area to our little cottage with everything we needed. As Iv said we have done a few of these and this was by far the best. The cottage itself is perfect and finished to a lovely standard. But it was the little touchs that stood out, a coffee pod with a selection of pods, kitchen essentials (they don't very often come with these), docking station and even pack of cards and boggle :) We are 28 and yet love all of these added Touches.Thank you for a lovely stay :) x"

"We spent a wonderful week in Woodlands. Very impressed by all the equipment provided (kitchen equipment, games, books, DVDs, electric blankets, hot water bottles, night lights and coins for the electric meter). It was lovely to arrive to a welcome tray, milk in the fridge and fresh flowers. The location of the lodge within the holiday park is ideal - close to the pool and games room, not over-looked at all and with streams and space just outside. The children loved it!The holiday park was larger than expected, with maybe 100 or more holiday homes, but it was very quiet and we only really saw other people in the pool which is bigger than we expected). Though one morning we had the pool entirely to ourselves! We used the lodge as a lovely base for exploring Dartmoor and east Cornwall and were lucky to have lovely sunny weather most days. Would love to come back!"

"We found the cottage lovely to stay at, the owner is very friendly and helpful. There were six of us - two couples and 2 children. Of the two double bedrooms the master bedroom is very comfortable, the second double bedroom not so comfortable at all - the mattress is too soft so we ended up not using this bedroom! The twin and single bedrooms are both comfortable and all bedrooms are very clean. The kitchen could do with a few more utensils and more pots and pans. The location is excellent to see a lot of cornwall we managed to go to quite a few beaches, tintagel, becky falls and boscastle all within 40-50mins drive. The cottage is very clean and well maintained, spacious and has a lovely garden with a lovely dolls house for the kids.Overall we had a lovely stay and would come back to Cornwall! Thank you."

"The Cottage was very clean and comfy. The kitchen equipment was new and made cooking and eating at home easy and hassle free. The beds were all comfortable and had nice linen- added extra was having electric blankets already on the beds.(we stayed in February)When we arrived we had a problem with the electric meter the owners were very helpful, came straight round (on a Sunday afternoon) and the onsite technician solved the issue. Couldn't of asked for more! The indoor pool was well kept, warm and only minutes away from the cottage. Perfect size for a swim and play in! The changing rooms were a little chiliy (February half term) just meant you had to get changed quick! Long opening hours meant that we got good use of pool and were able to go either before or after a day out in beautiful Cornwall."

"It's a gorgeous property and the location is wonderfully remote. The welcome pack of bread, milk and eggs was perfect after a long drive down. One or two areas need some attention, such as the grouting and shower panel in the upstairs bathroom, and the garden, but overall it's lovely. It does need more pots and pans and utensils in the kitchen to make the best of the fabulous cooking range, and some larger drinking glasses. Including a decent Sky package would enhance the experience. Also there was no DVD player, which had been included in the listing. I would definitely recommend it though and may well come back. A tip for other visitors: The WiFi reception is patchy in the livingroom and best in the kitchen, and do visit the Cornish Arms in Tavistock for the best roast dinner ever."
