What our customers are saying about our Open Fire Self Catering Holidays In Italy.

"We had a really great stay here, the view from the terrace is spectacular and probably unmatched in Tuscany. The property is a converted hay barn and is cute, unusual and quirky but works perfectly and is fine for 2 people with good furnishings including a good bed and air conditioning. The road up from the village is perfectly manageable and so is the driveway so don’t be put off by the Health and Safety warnings on the web site. The owners and their family are lovely people and their farm with its olive groves, wild flowers, horse and doggies are lovely. The property is well located with Sienna, Arezzo and Florence all no more than one hours drive away. The local village is lovely and is old world rural Tuscany. The La Torre (Tower) restaurant, Sanga Osteria and the Ice Cream parlour are all excellent as are the deli, local farmers produce cooperative shop and Monday Market veg and cheese stores. Loved it."

"We enjoyed our stay very much but there were a few things that could easily be put right that were a bit irritating - the dishwasher did not work properly and fell forward every time it was loaded and unloaded, a small thing but annoying as it was a 2 man job to put it back, the shower fittings in 2 of the bathrooms did not work properly and the shower shield in one was missing. There were a lot of mosquitoes and some of the screens were torn and no mosquito coils or plugs were around. We could have brought our own if we had known so a warning would have been good. Apart from that, we had a good time and the owners were very kind and welcoming."

"An impeccable and very well-appointed property, with lovely views and charmingly located up a very narrow and twisty road! The owners were very obliging and helpful. Lots of convenient day trips to cities (Pisa, Florence...) and into the beautiful mountains (marble quarries, Windy Cave well worth visits). Highly recommended"

"Beautiful place to stay, but you have to be fit as there are a lot of steps and a very steep path to the car park. The house is amazing, with lots of history. The extra cost of electricity at the end is a shock but it is a massive property to maintain."
