"We just returned from a 7 night stay at The Residence (3 adults and 3 children under 5). There are lots of positives - stunning setting in the cove, beautiful infinity pool, great architecture, very friendly service from staff. Our case went missing on the outbound flight and turned up two days later and the hotel were good about phoning on our behalf to check its whereabouts The funiculars were a novelty but it became a bit of a logistical game in order to catch one at the right time (and took a good 2 days to get our bearings in terms of working out which one to catch). The adjacent hotel kids club also looked nicely run . Its a shame there is no lift through the central part of the hotel right down to the beach. The beach is accessed by two flights of stairs which is impractical with a buggy/small children. Villa guests get preferred seating in a separate area on the beach! We only dined in the buffet restaurant once and the food was average and its pretty bustling atmosphere with lots of kids (ours were in bed!). We dined on the half board dine around programme a few times and loved the Ocean restaurant and the Taverna special Greek evening was also worth going to. We also left the hotel two evenings to eat in Agios Nikolas (would recommend Pelagos restaurant). Breakfast for villa guests is in the Ocean restaurant and it was very calm and excellent service - can't comment on the main buffet breakfast but we enjoyed sitting in the Ocean restaurant garden at the back and it was very relaxing. It was unfortunate that for the first 2/3 days we had horrendous winds (which I have since read are very common and occurred throughout July this summer) and it made the pool and umbrellas unusable and also the first three rows at the beach due to sand being blown. This got us off to a bad start but fortunately it stopped on day 3 and we had a lovely last 4 days without the wind and for that reason the hotel really grew on us from that point on. Getting a sun lounger at the main pool is also tricky unless you are prepared to stay there all day (not practical with young kids). Overall the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Kostas was the perfect host and went above and beyond our expectation. From our arrival to departure, every request, no matter how small was met with suggestions; even being so kind to try and organise a birthday cake on such short notice. His recommendation of the restaurant just a stone throw from the villa was a beautiful location with stunning views and mouth-watering menu. The villa is stunning; you can see the love and detail that has gone into making this villa a haven away from home. It is close to the town centre (5-7min walk) while at the same time perfectly located to avoid the crazy hustle and bustle of the town. We had to be dragged kicking and screaming on most days to explore the town and beaches (we were also able to explore the secluded high cliffs of the beach). The minute you step through the gates of this villa, you feel as if you in your little piece of paradise. The open-air garden with surround speakers was perfect for easy listening whilst gazing at a stunning view from a well-placed out-door jacuzzi. The fridge was stacked with little provisions on our arrival. This pampered feeling was capped by a daily cleaner who kept the villa meticulously tidy. I could not ask for a more relaxing time. I am already planning my next visit in September!"

"Villa Rana is a six minute walk up the hill from Agni Bay in Corfu and while there are hundreds of these little bays this is the one you want to be at - it has three PERFECT restaurants and a lovely beach and it’s close to everything you’d want to do and see while in Corfu. The Villa itself is two years old with a stunning view of the bay and surroundings and a gorgeous infinity pool on the front deck. Open floor plan on the main floor with a nice kitchen and living room/dining room area and big windows opening up to the pool and the deck - all of it perfectly done. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a bit less glamorous - beds creak a bit, water pools a bit in the showers and the televisions in the bedrooms are tiny (not that you’d use them anyway - you’re going to be at the beach or by the pool). Overall this is a great villa for a family or a few couples. We had a few small issues and both the owner and the LR team did a great job helping resolve these - book it, you’ll love it."

"This place is beyond words! Whatever you see in the photos and on the reviews cannot do justice to how amazing this place is! From the moment you pull up to the calm surrounding grounds, to opening the front door to be greeted with the breathtaking view of the ocean, to being constantly surrounded by an abundance of space, comfort and bliss for this beautiful villa; every moment here was perfect for us. Elain was always on hand and always a delight when helping us out with anything we felt we needed - but truth be told, we pretty much had everything we needed. Waking up to the view and the sound of the ocean made the start to every day absolutely perfect. Would add this villa to any bucket list! A memorable time, extremely thankful"

"This is an excellent villa for a family holiday, although quite secluded, there are some restaurants in the area which you could walk to if necessary or local taxis are available too. The facilities are first class in every respect, from rooms to outside space it most certainly has the wow factor with views to die for. Our whole holiday experience was amazing and we could not have wished for better. Our 3 kids and their partners hired Stefanas the chef and his wife as a treat for us all which was fantastic with amazing food and also Claudia the masseuse who spent the day giving massages to all adults. This place was heaven on earth for us all, 8 adults and two grandchildren who will have wonderful memories of our family holiday."
