"Less a cottage and more a mobile home/chalet bungalow, so very characterless outside. Inside comfortable very well appointed and generally very clean except the shower was developing a real mold problem; that bathmat has got to go! Comfy bed and fairly peaceful setting. The conservatory was really nice and despite the cold weather it warmed up well in the spring sunshine. There definitely a lack of basic equipment we have come to expect: there was no hair dryer; no radio alarm clock; very basic sets of kitchen equipment and the cutlery and crockery were a mishmash. (A massive great dish washer and insufficient equipment). Loads of spoons though! The shower was not very powerful for being the only form of bathing apart from the washbasin. The dog walks were lovely but you had to contend with a tricky fast country road to get anywhere. The area is so lovely and enjoyed days out but Orchard(?) Farm "Cottage" was not very homely to come back to."

"Another return visit for us, a really well presented, clean and quality furnished cottage. Well decorated, beautiful bathroom, a compact but delightfully equipped kitchen. Norfolk house is situated a 2 minute walk to the village of Dulverton which has an antiquated charm of years gone by. From the delightfully warm and friendly owner, to the knowledgable, practical and just lovely Penny to meet you and greet you it's a very well managed property, parking is the only downside but it really is at worst a 2 minute stroll from wherever you park but really what can you expect from a village that has managed to evade the harsh modernization of other places, it really doesn't matter, well done to all that own, greet, and clean this pretty cottage, we will be back no doubt xxx"

"A wonderful, relaxed country break. The setting is very rural, extremely narrow lanes with occasional passing places, beautiful scenery but bear in mind the nearest shop is in St Mawes, a 10 to 15 minute drive away, so don't forget to bring basic provisions! The Granary is well equipped and comfortable in lovely, well kept grounds. The owners, Nicky & Graham, live onsite and gave us some excellent advice on good places to visit. A dog friendly beach is a 10 minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our week long break and the tranquillity of the countryside. We would definitely return to the Granary."

"we were very pleased with the lay out of the property and quality of the fittings. However the towels provided for us I would not give them to a jumblesale. They were thin, not white and very small. I wasn't expecting a bathsheet but this was like trying to dry yourself with a teatowel. Although the bathroom looked very stylish there was mould round the bottom of the shower. In the kitchen the sink was filthy and there were splashmarks on the doors and sides of the units. A bit of bleach and a good polish was needed. A pity because the place itself was lovely but it wasn't clean enough."

"Trelissa Farmhouse is situated in a wonderful location with its lovely costal walks & dog friendly beaches . The Granary is tucked away so be prepared for a 15min drive to the shops, of which there are plenty in St.Mawes. Also nearby is Porthscatho, a typical Cornish fishing village, complete with harbour & a lovely old pub - the Plume of Feathers. An outstanding feature of our stay was the Paddock - where our 2 small dogs could exercise each day. Full marks to Graham & Nicky - our hosts who were always available for any help or advice when needed. We hope to return again"
