"Very clean. Some groceries thoughtfully provided on arrival. Good value as you are getting a detached property with two bedrooms, a conservatory and a small private garden for your money. Some noise from the road at night as you are very close to the main street but not that intrusive. The only drawback was the parking which was a bit tight and involved a 3 point turn to get back out unless you reverse out or in.... tricky and not advisable. I have a Honda Civic and I wouldn't want to park anything much bigger. In fairness, the literature does advise small or medium sized cars."

"This was our third stay at Brimble Cottage, and as usual we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage itself is lovely, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone, including the dog, and very handy getting ready mornings with a second loo. Plenty of places to visit without having to drive too far, and after a busy day good coming back to all the facilities of home. Nice to sit in the garden early mornings and evenings listening to the bird song. Nigel, wife, and family always very helpful and pleasant when you see them. Would highly recommend this holiday cottage."

"We had a lovely week in the Old Smithy cottage, A lovely touch with a welcome cake, tea, coffee and milk. There was everything you needed in the cottage, well equipped kitchen and the whole cottage was lovely and clean. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Best fish and chip shop in the village (and we live by the sea). Parking can be a bit of an issue and would recommend that you reverse up into the parking area to avoid problems getting out, it is very tight.we were fortunate with the weather so we able to enjoy sitting out in the small garden in the afternoon."

"Great cottage, fantastically furnished. Kitchen well equipped. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The area is really quite, no noise heard at all from the hotels that back onto the property or the family pub across the road.Only downside was the really small courtyard garden, too small to seat 6 people comfortably. I would stay here again if my regular cottage was not available to book - stayed June 2017"

"We found Wyke holiday cottages to be very efficient and professional. The accommodation was extremely good and to a high standard. Our experience from booking to departing the property was very smooth and hassle free. We don't want to say too much about the property or everyone will want to book it and we plan to go again next year and don't want it to be fully booked!!! "
