What our customers are saying about our Hot Tub Self Catering Holidays In Devon.

"Excellent cottage for families-very large combined dining & living room and kitchen with really useful safe balcony looking out over large grassed back garden-the garden is perfect for children to play on whilst the adults sit watching them from the balcony.Excellent private hot tub (perfect for relaxing in after a hard days sightseeing) and bonus of shared fairly warm heated swimming pool and games room with pool table and dart board.Brilliant reasonably quiet location although traffic noise can be heard from nearby A30-this would not put us off from staying here again. We originally booked the more expensive Sundance cottage due to the "Tikki bar" area out back but really pleased we changed to Honey Pippin due to the large rear garden ideal for our 2 year old granddaughter to wear herself out in.Many thanks to Sheila and her staff for a wonderful stay!"

"I was not impressed with the country lodge VIP. It was poorly laid out inside and did not have a nice open plan lay out, the kitchen was not well equipped and it was not cleaned to a high enough standard (kitchen floor had clearly not been cleaned for starters). The washing machine smelled and was dirty ( black mould) so I did not use it.The lodge was well heated and was very warm and the hot tub was great. I would consider coming back here but I get the impression there is a great variation in the standard of accommodation that is essentially the same price ( as lots of these are holiday homes that are rented out). It seems to be luck of the draw if you get a nice one or not. I would have been very dissatisfied if I had paid full price for the holiday but it was discounted as booked last minute and off season."

"Third time staying here, always in deluxe woodland lodge. Beautiful surroundings, usually quiet, but a little noisy this time from surrounding lodges. Will definitely return again as the park has everything we require. As a couple the lodge has everything we need with hot tub and sauna too, we stayed a couple of weeks ago and it was sweltering hot, the only outdoor furniture on the balcony was basic table & 2 chairs, we made a trip out to buy lounger. The park setting has some beautiful walks, the new fitness complex looks amazing. The only downside is the on-site shop, really is a let down and feel they have missed an opportunity, it doesn't even stock the basics, we always make sure we take all our provisions. We also always take our own pillows as the ones they provide are not comfortable."

"The cottage is in an idyllic setting but you do need your own transport as it is several miles to the nearest village. At night there is no traffic noise, and sitting in the fabulous hot tub all you hear is the wind in the trees and the wildlife. The bed was exceedingly comfortable and that combined with the peace and quiet resulted in fantastic quality sleep. In the living room are 2 small armchairs. These are not conducive to cuddling up with your partner and we felt that a small settee would have been better, although I am sure others would like the enforced separation! The hosts are always on hand if there are any issues and nothing is too much trouble. The cream tea on arrival was an added bonus.A perfect getaway if you want time together in a peaceful location."

"The cottage was very cosy but was adequate for our requirements. It was clean and had plenty of equipment/utensils and cleaning materials, so cooking was made easier. There was an expectation from the owner that we cleaned the cottage before we left which I thought was odd. I vacuumed, cleaned the showers and kitchen only for it to be done again when we left.I primarily booked this cottage because the blurb said it had a nature reserve you could walk to which took you down to a river. It sounded idyllic and perfect for walking my dog. However, the reality was different. The owner has a flock of sheep in the reserve so there is sheep mess everywhere. The reserve is very overgrown so walking around it was not particularly enjoyable."
