What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Crowan.
Mr Wiggins - verified booking
"We’ve stayed on this farm in various cottages for the past 4 - 5 years, unfortunately each year the cleanliness has deteriorated. This year was the worst ever. Our party consisted of 4 children and 6 adults, within minutes of arriving we were washing floors as the children’s socks became filthy. The vacuum cleaner didn’t work, many curtain hooks were missing or broken, lamp shades were broken or didn’t fit, and the ground floor bathroom had mould growing on the walls, unfortunately the place was generally grubby and shabby, dirty tissues, biscuits, sand and all manner of items were found in between and under the cushions of the furniture. When catering for families at facilities that have stairs, it should be standard practice that a working stair gate be provided, we could cope without high chairs as these aren’t life threatening, but stair gates should be a given. It’s very disappointing to have the need to write these remarks as we’ve had some great stays at Tregotha, I feel the most disappointing aspect is that it wouldn’t cost fortunes to get it back on track, personally I would start with employing a decent team of cleaners."

"Great location for convenient access to anywhere between Falmouth and Lands end. You will need a car to get around but Hayle, St Ives, St Michaels Mount and Penzance are all less than a 20min drive away. Accommodation was spacious for our grown up family of seven and everything that you are likely to need is provided (including toys and games for younger children). We stayed here over the new year and the house was warm and comfortable for us all. ‘Country Skittles’ next door provide good food and plenty of entertainment for older children (skittles, shooting, pool, darts, air hockey etc.)"

"We have previously stayed in Cornwall multiple times at some beautiful accommodations, and have never once experienced such a disgusting stay like this! On arrival, we were very early as we had travelled down from Yorkshire, whilst we waited we went into the pub next door Country Skittles to have a drink and a bite to eat, they were very accommodating as we were on holiday with family who had 2 young boys with disabilities and we were able to get in the house 2 hours earlier than we should ..."

"Unfortunately the nearest local shop (~1 mile) quoted in the literature has now closed down, but we walked a further 0.5mile to the next one, along Blackberry strewn lanes (very tasty!) which was well stocked with everything from my husbands favorite car magazine to essentials and Vaseline for the children's surfing requirements (prevents wet suit chaffing). Hospitable, friendly hosts. Spacious and well thought out accommodation with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, wet room and ample ..."
