What our customers are saying about our Summer Holiday Self Catering Holidays In Cornwall.

"We liked the fact that we could easily walk into the town - but not the brief power cut we had on the first evening. It turned out that trees had come down in the storm. The Co-op, bakery, chemist, newsagent, bookshop and most of the antique shops were great and we also enjoyed the coffee shop. Of the places we visited, The Eden Project was our favourite and we spent all day there. We even found the lift this time! Mevagissey and Fowey were good places to visit, too, and we found that we could get into the harbour car park as it was out of season. Lowen Penty itself was comfortable, warm and very convenient to use. I especially liked the attractively furnished bedrooms and the friendly feel of the whole place. It feels like borrowing a home rather than renting a house!"

"Lowen Penty is perfectly situated in Lostwithiel. The property is close to the train station which is also ideal for exploring Cornwall, but I have to say we never heard one train. The property itself is bijou, cosy and comfortable. Being open plan, it has been thoughtfully furnished to ensure good use of space, we felt very comfortable and at home. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the gas fire and central heating soon warmed the cottage up. Such a lovely little cottage, we would definitely stay there again."
Mrs Giffin, Saffron Walden, Essex - verified booking
"We enjoyed our stay at Lowen Penty. Lostwithiel is a very interesting town with good facilities, including pubs, excellent fish & chip shop, places to eat, shops & train station. Within easy reach of local attractions, ie The Lost Gardens of Helligan, The Eden Project, The Duchy of Cornwall Nursery (including very good tea rooms). Restormel Castle is very interesting. Within easy reach of the Tintagel and Boscastle, coastal walks, to name but a few. Plenty to do, and well worth a visit."

"the cottage and the owners are great, it was very relaxed and the first time felt it was easy having my dogs at the cottage as they are genuinely dog friendly people with a relaxed attitude. Really peaceful place and really handy for getting to places. Well equipped cottage and really comfortable. Beautiful garden, patio and lots of birds to watch. All on one level so great for anyone with mobility issues as well. sue"

"Wonderful holiday it was unfortunate that the boiler broke down for 2 days but the owners were fantastic could not fault their speed to get it fixed and the supply of additional heating which really was not needed as the cottage is obviously very well insulated as we were lovely and warm thank you to Linda and Martin great time and will definitely be going back"
