What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Christchurch District.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Stonesthrow and would highly recommend the accommodation and its location as an ideal holiday resort. It's a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) to the beach at Mudeford, where there is an up- market restaurant, a small supermarket, take-away fish and chips, an ice- cream stall and a small art gallery. At Mudeford Quay, the other end of the beach, there is a small pub, the Haven, which serves very good pub food.Mudeford is also an excellent location from which to tour: Swanage, Sandbanks, Bournemouth and of, course, the New Forest are all close by. A return visit is necessary to experience all this delightful area has to offer."

"The little cottage was lovely - however, it is completely over looked by the owners at all times as its actually in their garden so really not very private. We are grown ups - it felt abit like being on holiday with your parents. ***** Owner response The properties sit side by side 15 metres apart. We only started two weeks ago and decided on a trellis, for plants to grow, rather than a boring fence between the and have since put up a screen. All guests have complete privacy and are only ‘over looked’ by a kitchen window and can have as much peace and quiet as they wish. We have a 10 year old and that is the full extent of our parenting LOL"

"The house was very welcoming and clean, until looking in the oven which needs a good clean. There was no toilet roll holder in en suite. Lovely fresh towels, box sweets and biscuits were a bonus, as were the items left in the cupboards and milk and spread in the fridge. The BBQ needs a clean and about an hour spent on brushing away cobwebs from the outside and some weeding on the patio.Wardrobes in downstairs bedroom would have been nicer. one of the stair upright tops needs fixing. But I would certainly recommend it and we enjoyed our stay there."

"The utensils in the kitchen including the scissors are not very sharp - that's all everything else was perfect. Sadly, because of the severe weather we had to cut our holiday short by two days. We were devastated because despite the cold it was an absolute perfect place to be. The view from the garden down to the beach was amazing and seeing the Isle of White from there. Walks in all directions from the Lodge were wonderful for us and our dog. Furniture and beds very comfy. Everywhere spotless. Thank you very much."

"The cottage itself is great but our arrival was undermined by a dirty duvet cover on the double bed - looked like a large dog with muddy paws had been on it - and an unemptied rubbish bin. The master bed also has a horrible plastic mattress cover which makes you sweat in bed, and the dinner plates are too big to put in the dishwasher! These minor drawbacks are a real shame as the cottage is in the most beautiful location and under normal circumstances we would have rebooked it for later in 2019."
