"Have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Fabulous views and great walks, even if a wee bit hilly...gets the old lungs working when we live at sea level. Our accommodation was fantastic, a barn which has converted into three spacious living areas, exceptionally clean, modern, and very well equipped. Jokingly we tried to think of something that wasn't provided...the only thing we could come up with was a cheese grater !! (not that we actually needed one haha, but bet Nicky after this comment will supply one, as she does seem to think of absolutely everything) Thank you so much for the most unexpected lovely friendly touches like flowers, wine, cake, milk and biscuits on arrival. Max enjoyed his welcome dog chews too. You have thought of everything ! We both loved the local bar The Robin Hood. So many friendly people. All bars, shops etc are so dog friendly it's fantastic. Hope to come again as four days was not enough !"

"Hove Wood View is equipped to a very high standard, with comfortable beds and a lovely view from the back, across the valley. The nearby Hinchliffe Pub serves superb food and makes all guests very welcome (within walking distance for most). Tv, telephone and broadband signals work very well. You need a car, unless you're happy to take the bus (stop is nearby). The website photograph is slightly deceptive, as there is actually no grass at the back which children could play on. As a mature couple, we were perfectly happy with the terrace, table and chairs. Heating worked well. Be advised that the road at the back front of the property is busy during the rush hours - not something we had anticipated. However, it didn't really disturb us and we slept well. We will definitely return, as Hebden Bridge is a lovely town (5 miles) as is the area of Cragg Vale. Full of history!"

"Broughton House was absolutely charming and a lovely conversion job has been conducted on the house. The kitchen was VERY well equipped, the best I've ever seen and there was a good selection of books, DVDs and games. The bathroom is small but that's the nature of the house, it was all very pretty. The beds were comfortable, the house warm, and overall we had a wonderful stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and hope we get an opportunity to stay there again. The location is great, very close to town. The key code box meant there was ease of getting in as we arrived late at night."

"Superb cottage in an beautiful, quiet location. Owners very helpful. Parking is a problem in most places in these hills and valleys. There is adequate parking here but It was tricky to negotiate on first arrival in the dark and heavy rain. I suggest a warning about the entrance to the access road - there are steps on the right-hand side which need to be avoided. Best memory: Walking to the pub across the fields on a sudden snowy afternoon in November - snowballs, log fire, cat, backgammon, Timothy Taylors - what more could anyone want."

"We particularly love the location of this cottage. It is a short stroll into the centre of Hebden Bridge. At night, it is far enough from the Centre to be so peaceful that we slept incredibly well. We love the atmosphere of Hebden, the scenery, the walks and the variety of small shops, pubs and cafes. We found peoplw friendly. We emjoyed returning to our cottage at the end of each day as it was comfortable and peaceful and on what we would describe as a 'colourful and characterful street' which we loved."
