"Had such an amazing time at Croft View. Jane really couldn't have done enough to ensure we were comfortable with our three month old providing additional baby blankets, baby towels and a changing mat alongside the cot bed. It was really appreciated. The summerhouse had a little window with a seating area underneath which was wonderful for us keeping an eye on the little one as we relaxed and took in the views from the hot tub. The place was spotless and was in a great spot for exploring Edinburgh and around. The little touches such as welcome hamper and bottle of prosecco went down a real treat after a long drive from Yorkshire. Thank you for your welcoming us to Croft View and for your hospitality. "A lovely cottage, beautifully configured in an amazing building. Excellent location, perfectly situated for access to trunk routes. The Lodge has a well equipped kitchen, and a full dozen place settings of crockery! The living space wraps around the kitchen in a delightful L shape, separating dining from lounge. We didn't need to light the fire, already laid in the hearth. The two bedrooms come with large wardrobes and tall drawer units, plenty of space for a whole week's clothes. The Utility Room has washer/dryer and freezer, and the back door leading to a delightful small outdoor space. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gifts, and when we had to contact the owners, we had immediate response, very helpful"

"We had a wonderful stay at The Snug. Alison and Graeme (the owners) could not have been more welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. The Snug itself was gorgeous - exactly as the pictures show and the hot tub was a nice feature. The location was ideal as you have easy access to both Glasgow and Edinburgh via train which is about a 30 minute walk, or a few minutes in the car which you can leave in the station car park for free. Also, the surrounding areas are beautiful with lovely country parks and quaint villages. The Snug is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Scotland. Great value for money."

"We had a wonderful week here our hosts were very friendly nothing was to much trouble .The snug is superb accommodation for two ,the hot tub was lovely and warm even in the rain .There is a railway station a few minutes away which was very convenient for trains to Glasgow or Edinburgh free parking at the station .We enjoyed the Kelpies ,the Falkirk water wheel and Livingstone retail outlet these we drove to .Not being walkers we didn’t investigate potential trails .Theres nothing in Blackridge itself but just being at the snug in lovely surroundings was very relaxing .We will visit again ."

"I can not fault this accommodation it has everything you need and more. Alison welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know along with local information and advice. It was immaculate and very comfortable and we found travelling around in the area very easy. The train station close by was great for getting to Edinburgh or Glasgow with ease. The private garden and hot tub were an added bonus to this accommodation and we hope to stay here again next year. We would rate this the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in so far and doubt it will be beaten."
